The rooms are as expected: double bed, ensuite, tea/coffee and kettle, tv. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms are clean and the restaurant serves beautiful food. It has it's own car park, but will cost you even though you are staying in the hotel :(
Only a 5 minute walk to the Aviva. If you ask, you can get a room with a view of the Aviva Stadium...if rooms are still available with that view.
All in all, it's a lovely hotel and if you can afford to stay here on match day, I'd recommend it.

Hotel really handy to the rugby ground and only a few minutes walk from some lovely pubs and bistros. Overall the hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was excellent. The one thing I would say is that it is slightly dated, the bathroom in our room could have been doing with an upgrade, but overall a good experience and would stay here again

Wow! Lovely hotel! Stayed there the weekend of New Zealand vs Ireland rugby match, stayed on the saturday.. Huge reception area, really nice staff! Stayed in a suite, was absolutely amazing! Walk in the door, huge big area with couches and a massive tv and your own bar. Then through 2 doors a really nice bedroom with a huge bathroom! Would definitely go back again, only 5min walk from Aviva Stadium!

I've booked this hotel through Booking.com . Turned out great .
Close to Dublin's city center , 25min by bus from the airport , a very authentic majestic hotel , with view on the Aviva arena .
We had diner at Roly's Bistro , at 5 min from the hotel and enjoyed it very much .
Nice breakfast , good service , I can recommend this hotel .

My husband and I stayed at the Clyde Court Hotel on a Saturday when Ireland were playing Australia at the Aviva. The Clyde Court is very close to the stadium and is a very popular hotel with rugby fans, both residents and non-residents, as the hotel sets up a dedicated, and very large, bar in reception to accommodate the masses en route to and from the Aviva. So this is as busy as the hotel gets. And even though it was already very busy by the time we arrived mid afternoon (5.45 kick off) we were met at the gate by a very nice security guard who had a list of those checking in and although their carpark was already full he managed to squeeze us in outside of the carpark but inside the hotel's gates, so our car was nice and safe and the hotel waived the normal 10 Euro parking charge. Reception staff checked us in quickly and pleasantly and we were directed to a "quiet" room on the 4th floor. I had my doubts that anywhere in the hotel would be quiet that night but it really was. The decor of the public areas is luxurious and fresh, and the rooms feel the same. The rooms are not overly large but have everything you need, nicely presented, very clean, and with a comfortable bed. The extractor in our bathroom didn't work, but no odds. Breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant - a very pleasant room. The breakfast itself was very good, nice selection of food hot and cold. The transformation of the hotel overnight was amazing, the staff must have worked through the night as by 8.30am you would never have guessed that the hotel had played host to several hundred rugby revellers until the wee hours. If you are attending an event at the Aviva the Clyde Court is a perfect venue, and even it you are not Landsdowne Road is in a very pleasant part of Dublin, easily accessed via the Port Tunnel, the city centre is walkable from the hotel, or alternatively taxis in Dublin are readily available. We will definitely stay there again.

The breakfast was uninspiring, but the lunch food they prepared for us was downright awful. All the plates during breakfast and lunch were more or less unwashed - grimy to the touch, something that I have never experienced outside of a student dorm. This did not happen once, it happened every day during five days, so I expect they did not even have a functioning dishwasher.

The room itself was, at one time, probably nice. Now it was just plain worn out, with a bit of grime here and there. The radiator was chock full of dust, the paint from the ceiling was flaking down to the floor, mystery stains on the comforter, worn out pillows, there were splashes of... something on the walls, etc. To be fair, it was definitely not the worst level of cleanliness I've seen in my life, but it was along the lines of, say, a two-star hotel in central London. Badly in need of refurbishment.

The internet connection in the rooms did not work at all, neither for me nor for several of my colleagues, and when I twice asked to move rooms because I needed a functioning connection to do my job, I was refused to do so. They just stated that "the connection works!" No, it really did not.

I would strongly advise against staying in this hotel until it has been renovated and put under new management.

Room Tip: Stay at another hotel.

The Clyde Court is a beautiful hotel. Luxuriously furnished. The rooms are very nice, bright and airy. Sadly the TV in my room was a bit dodgy but apart from that the room was very good, clean and comfortable. The food offering is very good value and excellent quality. It's very close to the Aviva Stadium, DART train station and a short walk to the City Centre.
