I stayed here overnight and the hotel was great I thought. The lobby is spacious and quite grand. Plenty of comfortable seating around and you can have coffee etc. All spotlessly clean too. Our room was really nice, very comfortable bed, everything worked, the chairs were maybe a little shabby but all in all we had a very comfortable night. Good powerful shower over the bath, plenty of room for toiletries etc, Ive stayed here before and I will certainly stay again.

Room Tip: high floor has less noise

the main attraction of this hotel is its location near to the Aviva and RDS stadiums. You can park but it costs you an additional 10 euro per day. The reception and surrounding bar areas are very dated and dull with limited facilities (good for a Poirot movie!). Breakfast is buffet style and is very limited in selection and evening meals expensive. The room we had was big and comfy but the shower was very poor and the bathroom showed its age.

My wife and I stayed for one night on the 4th June 2014 to go to the Eagles concert at the O2. On our arrival we were treated as old friends and made very welcome by Lisa, the front desk manager, and her staff. Our room was beyond our expectations, spacious, comfortable and well presented. We had a Bar Meal which, again, was very good, served by pleasant staff at reasonable prices.
We have never stayed in the Clyde Court before but it will be our hotel of choice in future visits to Dublin.
Thanks Lisa and colleagues.

I stayed in the hotel last week for two nights for my anniversary. It was lovely. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, the room was of good size and the restaurant and breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, but just be sure you're prepared for either a long walk or a bus ride into the city.

I'm not sure if it's just me, because everyone else seems to say that the hotel is close to the city. It took us 45 mins to walk (and I'm 6'4", and a fairly fast walker). We got the bus into the city on our final day as we were very tired from the several walks to and from the city, and if you look at the timetable it says it takes 12 mins to O'Connell Street, but to walk to O'Connell street takes easily an hour from the hotel.

The nearest shop is the Spar, which is 15-20 mins walk from the hotel, in the same direction as the city, and you have to walk past the park, which is home to the Oscar Wilde memorial - also worth a visit as you go by. I can only assume that everyone else found a quicker way in to the city than I did. The walk was pleasant though, as the area is very nice and on Saturdays local artists hang their paintings along the railings of the park.

The hotel is located a 2minute walk from the Aviva stadium (not signposted at all until you get right near it) and the Lansdowne Road train station. We visited the small town/village of Killiney, along the coast via the train and it was beautiful. There isn't much there other than a beach, but the views are lovely, and it only cost 5 euros for a return ticket.

Our room has a great view of the city and the Aviva stadium and the room was very quiet.

Dublin is a lovely city full of friendly people and is somewhere you should visit. Food is priced well and is good value.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The checkin staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The dining room was welcoming and the food excellent. The hotel has been modernised but retains the flavour of grand space from its past. All in all a great experience.

We were late in making reservations for Dublin and so couldn't get a place in the city center. We ended up bring very glad that we booked here. We had three rooms and all we're clean and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent breakfast. It is near the DART train line but we found walking to the city center to be fine.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Great location, 15min walk from city centre and quiet. Staff were lovely, really tastey breakfast with great selection. Bed and pillows were so comfy, it was hard to get up! Hotel itself was very cosey and relaxing. Airport bus leaves from just round the corner which was ideal for us. Would definitely stay again. Can be pricey but we found a good deal on price comparison web-site.
