Clyde Court Hotel was the first stop on our wedding/honeymoon trip to Ireland -- when we told them we were getting married in Ireland they upgraded us to a junior suite and comped our lunch! It was such a nice warm welcome after a long, arduous flight and we experienced the same fantastic service throughout our weekend in Dublin.

In terms of location, we were initially worried that we'd be too far from the city center but it ended up being a nice 15-20 minute walk -- the green tour buses even make a stop at the hotel every morning which was convenient.

Dear Gurecait,

Congratulations to you both once again on your recent wedding!
We were delighted that you chose the Clyde Court Hotel as your first port of call on your Honeymoon, and really were only too happy to make your special trip that little bit more memorable.
We are ideally located along the leafy streets of Ballsbridge, which adds to the charm, But is also very conveniently located close to the city centre.
We do hope to welcome you back to stay again sometime (1st wedding anniversary perhaps?)
Until then, we hope you have a long and happy married life together.
Go maire sibh bhur saol nua. (May you enjoy your new life).

Warmest wishes,
Michelle Royal

Nice driveway, great entrance.
Very friendly staff.
Large rooms.
Great breakfast. Funny there’s a “chef” behind the Irish breakfast….she limits herself to serve the precooked food on your plate. She doesn’t cook at all, and is very nice. That makes me a “chef” too.
The Wi-Fi is medieval, though, you get a Bit-Buzz voucher (printed A4!) per device, per day…so prepare for some typing…
A bit far from the city-centre, a 30minutes walk, better if you’re coming in by car.

Room Tip: sorry, we were on the 6th floor and had no noice at all. No negative remarks about the rooms, here.

Dear Christophe P,

Many thanks for taking the time to review our Hotel. I was delighted to read that you liked the driveway, entrance and the large rooms which you found to be quiet.
It was also wonderful to read that you found the staff to be very friendly.
I will make sure that your kind words are passed along to our chef Janet.
The Bitbuzz wi-fi is something which we are looking at upgrading in the near future.
We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again sometime in the future.

Warmest wishes
Michelle Royal

This is a posh looking hotel, with friendly staff and big clean rooms. I would certainly recommend staying here. The restaurant food is really tasty and it is close to a lot of sights.
However you can start to see deterioration. Seals around the bathroom are starting to peel and the bathroom plug is scummy. Internet access is not fast and quite expensive. In a few years time I think ratings for this place may go down if they don't keep an eye on it. But for now = very nice.

We stayed at the Clyde Court Hotel on our family vacation in Dublin between June 29th and July 5th. There were six of us altogether and we had four rooms. The Hotel is located in the Ballsbridge suburb of Dublin, an upscale area located near Aviva Stadium and two to three stops (depending where you're going) on the DART from Downtown Dublin. The DART Station is a few minutes walk from the hotel and very easy to navigate.

The hotel itself is an older hotel but very well kept. It could use some updating by today's standards but I think there is a lot to be said for the charm and sophistication that accompanies the more contemporary/elegant style the hotel portrays. More importantly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a problem in one of our rooms with our A/C and upon the realization that it wasn't going to be a quick fix, they prepared and relocated us to another room without hesitation. The hotel has a restaurant and a lounge both of which serve food at reasonable prices. WiFi was also available at a very reasonable cost (roughly 4 Euros per day if you take the 5 day plan).

What sets this hotel apart was the service. Overall, the staff at the Clyde Court were very nice, very helpful, and very professional (especially Junior). However, it should be noted that Noha, a Guest Relations Manager, is a step above the rest. She is a true asset to this Hotel and they should be thankful to have such a kind, courteous, and caring member of management representing the hotel ownership. She made an effort to remember our names, greet us with a warm and friendly smile everyday, and show genuine interest in how our vacation was going. While it may be her job to be that way, you never had the feeling she was being that way because it was her job. Of all the things that could be said about this hotel, it is "service" that tops the list of reasons I would recommend and stay at, this hotel again.

I have worked in the hotel industry for years and the staff at the Clyde are something else, so friendly and will go above and beyond to meet your every need know matter how silly your request, like my call to reception for a needle and thread it was up to my room in minutes. The receptionist lisa who checked us in and was also on duty when we checked out was so friendly and very professional even while the phone was ringing and guests at the desk, she made it look so easy to juggle it all at once. I will definitely be staying again it was a great treat to feel so welcome and relaxed.

Hotel is dated but the staff does their best to compensate. Went over and above to address every request (and we had some really odd ones in our group). Bar area was lively at night and it's close enough to everything you'd want to see in Dublin.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel on our first trip to Dublin. We were there to go to the WAFA World Flower Show at the RDS facility. This hotel is in a perfect location for the venue as it is only a 10 minute walk up the road.

The staff were outstanding and at times it felt like there was a member of staff per customer as we were so well looked after. Noha was a little ray of sunshine and was so kind to us when we encountered a few initial problems with our booking (not at the fault of the hotel).

We ate in the restaurant on our first night, and while it was a little bit pricey, the food was of outstanding quality at a period where the restaurant was almost full. The food for breakfast was of an equal high standard and provided everything you could possibly want for at that time of the day!

Our room was of a standard size but was very clean and well presented. There were tea and coffee making facilities and we ordered extra pillows which arrived instantaneously!

All in all, this is a fantastic hotel with high standards of service and we would definitely return should we need to be in Dublin in the future.

Dear Ciwynarna,

I remember you and your mum, hope you liked the drink in the bar while you were waiting for you room, and also that your steaks were good in the restaurant, medium rare fillets if I remember correctly.

We really appreciate that you took the time to write the review and I will make sure to pass it on to the team. I hope you enjoyed all the flowers at the show too. Please send my regards to your mum.

Warmest wished from Dublin.
