This was one of my most favorite activities during my trip to Ireland. The stories are not only engaging, but also insightful into the history of Ireland, as the reasons they were told or the ideas they were meant to communicate offer us a glimpse into the mental space of the people of Ireland's past. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested!

This is an evening with a storyteller who was very accomplished , gave us a history of Ireland and why so many Irish are everywhere but Ireland. Then went on to talk about folklore and put a new twist on it. There is a set menu with several choices its simple food but good quality. Slight drawback there were a couple of guys singing and playing guitar and expecting us to join in while eating - doesn't work. A memorable and very enjoyable evening. (we were a big group and all got seperate for our drinks and that makes life so much easier)

This was one of the best things we did in Dublin. The food was excellent and the storytelling explained a lot about the history of Ireland. We were seated at a table of 10 all from the U.S. The servers got the food out quickly and cleaned up just as efficiently. I liked the storytelling more than the Irish music but the variety was nice. This is a must see!!!

My husband and I just had the pleasure of taking part in this tonight. Michael is a great story teller, really getting you into the spirit of the evening. The food was delicious and went along with the stories and they got you involved in the trad music. We also met new people at our table and were able to swap traveling tips! Definitely recommend!

My wife and 3 children (ages 6, 8 and 11) loved Helena Byrne's storytelling and singing! She told great stories about fairies and potatoes and Halloween and the way religions were blended and came about in Ireland. All of us learned so much about Irish history in a fun way. A great night!
