“Expensive but lovely food”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Had dinner here recently for the first time. I had the halibut, my friend had steak. Halibut was delicious, beautifully cooked. Ordered a side of salad with it and think it would've been a bit small without that. So in effect, you're paying 33-34 euro for a main course which I think is on the expensive side.

Staff are nice. We were initially given a weirdly positioned table but we asked to be moved and we were.

The restaurant was really busy and I found it quite noisy. But overall a nice experience.

“What you would expect”

We had our Sunday lunch here and it was as expected. Delicious steaks, smiling efficient service but quite pricey. Worth doing once in your life.

“Pleasant, lacks that finesse on the food for 5 stars !”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Very Good service, well made food and had loads of ambience. But food was normal , nothing distinctive. I would visit again, if only for the expected standard and the fact that most of my clients would be satisfied having being fed at a celebrity chef joint. My clients from the continent were very impressed with the steaks and sauces. The Eaton Mess was a conversation point for hours. (perhaps they should add a bit of info as to where the dishes originate from).
