“Great fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

This was the first thing we did after arriving on a Friday and was a great way to start the weekend. The location I must admit was a bit of a surprise....a gym! But do not let that change your mind! The evening is split into two, the firsy part a walk theough experience of Bram Stokers dracula with all manner of things and people jumping out at you and things popping up in the dark, just what you need to get the blood pumping! The latter part is 2 magic/audience participation shows based upon the detection of vampires. The whole group had an amazing night and the guys running it are genuine and very hard working to ensure everyone has fun. Probably one of the more unusual things to do in Dublin but a real night of dark humour and fun. Easy to get to on the bus and under €3 from the bottom of O'Donnell Street though exact fair is required. A taxi is c. €10.

“Brilliant show, extra special birthday treat!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

Really enjoyed this show, well worth the ticket price. Didn't really know what to expect when we arrived at the meeting point, but when we were lead to the Castle it turned out amazing. The set, the hosts, the actors and magicians were really good and made a real effort to ensure your time there was enjoyable. I was invited to the stage twice in the second act by the magician, which was a brilliant way to finish off my birthday, he was excellent and so funny, I didn't feel at all nervous, and the interaction with the audience makes it so much more enjoyable. Also, having our photos taken with the horror characters was very memorable too, and a great keepsake. I would recommend a trip to the Secret Castle of Magic, haven't experienced a show as good as this in a while.

“Good,teenagers would like it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014 via mobile

All in all- very good.would suggest this attraction.for me,middle 20-ies aged, this attraction didnt surprise, received what I was expecting.first part was a bit boring- all those aaahh & ooohh would greatly work for students and,as we saw, chinese people.however costumes are well prepared and decorations are nice. you should offer this for school groups. Second part with both guys on stage were very good- magic tricks, involving visitors makes it more funny/atrractive to guests.
I understand that "graveyard" needs to be kept cold ro make feeling people are there, but if you keep people there sitting for hour and longer,it turns very cold - got running nose few days later and i haveno doubt it's from show.you should offer something to warm up or for show make place warmer.
Didn't get wine myself, but it seemed to be for extra charge.if so,this wasn't too nice to invite people to "have a drink with me" by host and ask to pay extra for that if ticket price is €30.

“What a Scream!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014

Went to this with a few friends and we had a ball. It was a birthday celebration and this was the perfect way to start the night, we had such a laugh despite the fact I embarrassed myself by screaming like a little girl!! The interactions with the audience are great and the magic was extremely impressive. If you are looking for an alternative start to the weekend and a good laugh this show is perfect . Enjoy!!!!
