This was a brilliant tour made even more special by our driver/tour guide Colm who was knowledgeable, informative, funny and entertaining. He sang songs, told jokes and made the whole trip thoroughly enjoyable. 5 stars to Colm. They need to pay you more. Cork and especially Blarney Castle and grounds was fantastic. The castle is amazing and the grounds - well you really need a whole day there to really appreciate them. Just fabulous.

Me and a couple of my friends went on the day trip to Cliffs of Moher. Unfortunately when we went it was super cloudy and there was no visibility, that however, is not the tours fault. Despite our bad luck with weather we actually enjoyed our day trip. Our tour guide was amazing and very entertaining!

I'm Irish and living in County Wicklow and decided to try this tour as I realised it would be much cheaper than driving myself and possibly getting lost and not knowing the area. I wanted a stress free day out. And it certainly was. Leaving the driving to someone else means you can just relax and enjoy the day.
Our bus driver was very entertaining. He sang for us, told bad jokes and gave us a brief history of places as we passed through them. We had plenty of breaks along to way to use the bathroom or buy food or drink. There was no problem drinking or eating on the bus. I think we chose the hottest day of the year to take the tour but thankfully there was really good air conditioning so we didn't melt.
The areas we visited were simply stunning. The Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge was a little scary and quite high up. Definitely not a thing you should cross if you're afraid of heights. It was a longer walk than I expected from the coach park to the bridge. We were told it was a 20 minute walk and it pretty much was. Mostly downhill so not too bad. There was a queue to cross it, and then of course a queue to come back. And the walk. Uphill. Getting back was definitely a tough walk. Maybe it was worse because of the heat but I definitely was glad to be sitting back on the bus. Worth it, of course. The bridge is amazing.
Then we stopped for a lunch break in a place called Chilli McCools. Sadly I can't say anything nice about this place. The food was awful. I decided on the chicken pie with chips and vegetables. The veg were disgusting. Clearly it was straight from a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. The pie had a strange liquid which looked like dishwater. The chips were fine. It's hard to go wrong with chips. But it was expensive considering how awful it was. Maybe it's time they found a new place for the lunch stop.
Then we went to the Giants Causeway. Again, quite a walk from the bus to see it. The views were stunning and the Causeway itself is wonderful to see. There's a story to go with it and the driver told us before we arrived. It's absolutely beautiful there. And there's a local bus service costing £1 to take you back up the hill. It goes about every 10 minutes. This gives you more time to actually see the place rather than spending your time walking back to the bus.
There was a stop in Belfast. Just an hour so not much time to actually do much. We walked to the Castle Court shopping centre and had a quick look around. Grabbed some drinks and got back on the bus.
The drive back to Dublin was just over 2 hours and we were back there around 8pm. All in all it's definitely worth the money and it's a very enjoyable tour. Just maybe use on of the stops along the way to buy some food rather than waiting for Chilli McCools. Save yourself that disappointment.

This year we took the Connemara and Belfast tours. We'd taken the Cliffs and Cork tours with Joe last year (fabulous, 5 stars). So we already knew what a great value these tours provide. Lots of unforgettable experiences in one day. Connemara was beautiful. Even in the rain, Kylemore Abbey is a stunner. There was plenty of beauty on this tour with Jim. What we did not enjoy was the boat ride. The prerecorded guide was boring, it was slow, and the bathroom was not clean. We would've really preferred the sheep demonstration. Belfast is a different kind of tour with a lot of history to boot. Glad to have seen it all with our own eyes. Gabe was our guide. Certain areas of Belfast were beautiful. The parts that aren't are explained well by Gabe.

Took the bus tour to the Cliffs of Moher. The entire journey was relaxing but still stimulating. Thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm of our tour guide/bus driver. Every stop along the way seemed to give us a true sense of Irish culture. Would absolutely recommend it. Will return to do another tour.
