Great location in the funky Temple Bar area, with helpful staff. The breakfast was pretty average though and our room stunk of cigarette smoke even though we were on the no smoking floor. We were only there for two nights so it was tolerable but not very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the room because of its easy location to walk the city and it's clean rooms. We found the staff, especially the restaurant staff, to be rude and unhelpful. Feel free to stay here, but go elsewhere for food and drinks. There are great dining options just a block away.

Great location and friendly staff! We got a great deal on expdia.ca and upon check-in, they gave us a room in a quiet area, which I had requested previously after reading reviews from other guests about the noise, and didn’t hear any! I had lived in Dublin before and was familiar with the area and the bar located underneath the hotel called Turks Head (which gets very loud on weekends).

The room was very small, but modern and quite comfortable. The bathroom was small, but in great shape and very clean. No breakfast included but they do offer free wi-fi.

I’d stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others as well.

This was our first trip away together as a couple and part of my boyfriends birthday, it just so happened to also fall on our first anniversary. We arrived at 9am and the reception staff were kind enough to give us and upgraded room and get us in at 12:30, earlier than expected which was useful as we were very tired. The hotel rooms are basic though satisfactory, upon arrival in the room we had a complimentary box of chocolates for our anniversary, such a nice touch. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, my partner ended up unwell and when I requested an ice bucket and hand towels several times they were very efficient in bringing them and doing so. Also helpful regarding advise on bus tours and where to go around the city. We genuinely enjoyed our stay in this hotel, the turks head was quiet, quite random also being attached to such a hotel, though surprisingly pleasant, very central location and I would certainly return

Room Tip: Would ask for a room with a balcony, you can enjoy the seeing the city at any hour!

We stayed in this hotel on 7th of January. The hotel was beautiful and clean and located in a great area. However, upon our arrival the receptionist was unbelievably rude. Not once did she smile or make eye contact. Did we feel welcome? Certainly not! Working in a hotel myself I have never witnessed this before.

At checkout the same receptionist was on. She however was far to busy having the craic with her friends to even acknowledge that there was customers presents. When she finally called us over she never lifted her eyes from her computer screen. Not even a thank you. Never have I experienced such bad customer service.

For such a nice hotel, front of house really let them down! I couldn't bring myself to stay here again, manners cost nothing!

Stayed at the paramount hotel over the New Years period with my boyfriend as part of a group of a friends. We were very pleased with the hotel, especially the service as all staff we encountered were friendly and polite. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
The bistro was wonderfully decorated but unfortunately the breakfast was not so great, we were given undercooked sausages one day and there was not much in the way of choice and variety.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the lively, vibrant temple bar area as it is close to bars, pubs and restaurants. This hotel would not be suitable for families or those looking for a quiet break as the noise from the streets could lead some to have a disturbed nights sleep.
