“Good quick overview of Irish literary greats but the museum is a bit run down.”
Reviewed 26 August 2013 via mobile

Compact but very interesting museum of Irish literature. But there is a half baked look to the place as if all the designs were in place but then the funding dried up.

“Writers and Nonwriters will appreciate this!”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

This small museum is a must for all writers. there is even something for those who aren't interested in writing. The displays are easy to view and informative. the museum profiles famous Irish writers and their biographies along with books and mementoes of the writer. If there is a performance going on, pay the extra and witness excerpts from books by a professional actor- this was fabulous! My nonwriter husband loved the actor, and it helped him understand and become familiar with some of the writings!

“Very interesting informative and good value”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

To get a flavour of Irish literary history this is great place to go. the included audio guide is very useful as you can play and pause to suit your time table. There is an outside garden where you can et your sandwiches. You also get a flavour of a house that a Jameson of Irish Whiskey fame owned. The bookshop us very on prehensile on Irish literature. Well worth a visit and very good value.
