Owner description: The building facade of Trinity College is among many constructed since the foundation of the College on March 13th, 1592. The design is attributed to Theodore Jacobsen, a London-based amateur architect, with the collaboration of Henry Keene and John Sanderson.

“walk through the door and step back in time”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

The beauty of Trinity is you walk through the narrow main entrance door and immediately you are steeped in history, and it's free. Wander across cobbled courtyards as the spirits of great scholars past, mingle with the buzz of today's international students. Take a guided tour, a snip at only €10 or visit the unique Book of Kells. No trip to Dublin would be complete without immersing yourself in this integral piece of Ireland. I'm a Dubliner, and I still regularly take a detour through Trinity just to soak up the atmosphere, if even for just a few minutes.

“The Samuel Beckett theatre in Trinity college is well worth checking out for the quality of its dramatic offerings”
Reviewed 25 November 2013 via mobile

I went to see the first stage production of one of Becketts radio plays, Embers, a memorable performance, beautifully directed, set and acted. Animal Farm coming up in December looks interesting!

“An oasis of calm in the middle of town”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Don't leave Dublin without visiting Trinity. Book of Kells is definitely worth a look and in the Summer you might even catch a cricket match here.

“You'd never know you were in the middle of a city”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Walk in through the front door, and it's like you've stepped into a different world. The noise of the traffic is left behind you, and you enter a campus steeped in history. Beautiful old buildings (and some new ones), and cobbled courtyard. You can go see the Book of Kells (there's a fee for this, and it's a little underwhelming, IMO), the Long Room, etc. Great when you want a change of scene for a while.
