Visited Trinity College in particular to see the Book of Kells and visit the great library which was featured in the Potter films. The Book of Kells is a stunning book. If you visit take your time to absorb the information and get the best from the exhibits. Recommended. Book in advance to bypass the queue.

The library is a must see. I would have liked to harness the vast reservoir of information that is stored there. The copious accomplishment of so many revered literary experts, philosophers, scientists and educators. Some of the books are four centuries old. Lovely!

We did the guided tour around the university and were really pleased with our guide. Well worth the price of the tour with entry to the book of Kells included in the tour price. The guide was a student at the university who was enthusiastic and informative and brought the university to life with her own stories and her time here. The tour left us with some interesting stories and a longing that the tour was a bit longer.

The student tour will give you access to the book of Kells as well. Including the student tour will cost you two more euros, but you get a lot of information about trinity college in return. Definitely worth it

Our Trinity College student tour led by Allison was A+. She gave a lively animated tour full off and cheeky insight to the history of Trinity College. Thank You and 3€ well spent.
