When visiting Dublin take some time to visit Trinity College. Trinity is an open educational institution where you can walk the grounds freely to observe the architecture and numerous points of interest. In addition you will have access to bathrooms, concession. and gift shops. However, if you want to see the "Book of Kells" and tour the Old Library you will need to pay an admission fee. Note that tickets can be purchased at several locations from automated kiosks which specify an admission time. This helps minimize line waits and allows you to better plan your visit. Expect to spend 3 to 4 hours for a casual walk through the grounds and a tour of the Book & Library.

Overall this stop is well worth the effort and make sure you take full advantage of everything Trinity has to offer.

Historic university going back to Queen Elizabeth I. The library is a must-see with floor to high ceiling books and busts of the famous through the centuries. Located in the center of Dublin, an easy walk from most hotels and shopping.

A must see. Don't miss it. Walk around and then go inside to see the Book of Kells and the old library.

I enjoyed the history of this beautiful place and seeing the Book of Kells was a magical experience. The campus is so pretty and the library gift shop has a good variety of nice gifts.
