We were during the world cup 2018
That's was a tremendous opportunity to catch real Athmosphere in Dublin in real Bar and real game.
So the conclusion is as this.
Dishes looks high priced but they are big for 2 and beers are realy good with various and good selection also the whisky
So highly recommend place. I do remind you that it was 15:00to 17:00 hour so imagine what going on night time.....

Dublin has far better places than temple bar, it’s way to expensive, the locals avoid this area like the plague. Was an experience, but wouldn’t go again

If we were going to spend more than one day in Dublin and only wanted to go into Pubs, then it would be fine. But we were looking for places to shop for souvenirs and walked all over and saw very few.

The Temple Bar area is an incredibly popular tourist attraction and is probably worth a quick check-out but to be honest, I thought it was overrated. It is a small area packed with bar after bar fronting on narrow streets. We had an introduction to it during our daytime walking tour but I had made reservations for dinner at a restaurant there so we went back that evening. What had been a busy place during the day had become a packed, loud and frenetic place at night. The bars were packed solid and spilling out into the streets. The crowd was primarily young 20-somethings. If I hadn't already made dinner reservations there I would not have gone back. It seemed more of an attraction to check off as having seen.
