My wife and I were here in May for a Saturday matinee. We booked about two months in advance and had the best seats in the house for a production of Oscar Wilde's "An Ideal Husband." We couldn't have been more pleased by every aspect of our experience. The acting was superb from top to bottom. There were two butlers in the show who deserve nominations for best supporting actor. When the butlers are good, you know the rest of the show is great. And it was. We often tell people how incredibly good the acting was.
The sets were also brilliant, and the set changes were choreographed to the music. Such a classy touch.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved. This was a first-class demonstration of the quality of Irish theatre. The best acting we've ever seen.
Afterwards, we walked across the Liffey and stopped by the Palace Bar for a O'Hara's Ale. Nice way to start the evening.
