I stayed at the Albany house for 3 nights and i have to say I was pleasantly suprised. In the lovely St Stephens green part of the city it is perfectly situated to get in and out the city and far enough away from the loud noisy part of the city. There are amazing bistro's nearby my favourite was Cafe Bliss (receptionist will point u towards it)

Rooms were clean and spacious, Bathroom was spotless Just be aware there are alot of stairs (I was on the 4th floor)

I even left a very expensive jacket in the room and they returned it to me with no extra cost! I was very impressed!

Room Tip: Dont go 2 high up on the floors

We enjoyed our stay at Albany House very much. It was very conveniently located and most of the staff was hugely helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was great. It is important to note that they don't provide full Irish breakfast but that is clearly described online. For us that was not a problem since we are very happy with a normal breakfast (including juice, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal, different types of bread and cheeses and croissants, jams and of course tea and coffee)! Our room was right on the top floor, so if you stay there please be sure to be fit and have light luggage (there are no lifts as indicated online)! For us it was not a problem. The issue I guess was that the shower had somehow low pressure and in the evening (after dinner) the shower was not massively hot. Room light was a bit low and if we were there to work at the table that would have been an issue. WiFi was free but there were some issues at the time and so it worked on and off (fine at reception). An issue was that they only provided a WiFi voucher per person (not per device) which was annoying. Overall, despite these points, it was a very good experience and I would stay there again. Fully recommended and particularly if they address the points here mentioned!

We stayed here two nights in a room facing the street. We could hear the loud young people walk by at night but that didn't interrupt our sleep. Our convertor for the electricity didn't work so the hotel staff let us borrow one. I got sick and the staff found us a doctor. They even sent our postcards for us even though we didn't have postage. The breakfast is a pretty nice spread in a nice room. The rooms are clean but pretty basic.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was in easy walking distance to all attractions. The rooms were large and clean with a great shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. You couldnt expect more for the price paid. Good value and would recommend if you want a good 3 star hotel.

We had a nice room in the 4th floor. The breakfast was nice and we especially loved the fruit salad. A great place to stay in Dublin which is also quite close to the city center. We'd love to come back again.
