Paid a visit recently to the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre having read a bit about it in our local paper. Didn't really know what to expect but certainly wasn't disappointed. What a lovely mix of antique, speciality shops, and eating places nestled in a fabulous setting. Just walking around soaking up the ambience was relaxing and a nice diversion from the hustle and bustle of Dublin outside the doors. Well worth a visit.

Went here specifically to see the knitting shop. Found a lovely sewing accessory shop as well as clothing shops, a tea room and local artistic flavor. Well worth seeking out!

Very impressive and in the heart of the city. Do not walk past it because you think it's too exclusive or expensive as it holds a total mix of shops, lovely cafes and is just lovely to stroll round. Absolutely beautiful place/space.

Not far from the bustle of Dublin are the massive gardens and landscaped grounds of Powerscourt. You will feel as if you have already reached the Irish countryside. A true step back into history, but also a welcome respite and refreshing afternoon or morning of beauty.
