Owner description: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE(R), Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction is a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and beings to life the heritage of this world famous beer. Your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity(R) Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of GUINNESS(R) while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin.
Useful Information: Stairs / lift, Bathroom facilities, Baby buggy parking, Wheelchair access

This was a cool place to visit but it would have been better if there were guided tours. Also, since this is the storehouse, there is no production at the facility so you don't see how the beer is actually made. However, at the end of the tour, you can go up to the top of the building where you had in your ticket and they give you a pint of Guinness. Not a bad way to end the visit!

Thank you very much for taking the time to post some feedback on your recent visit to Guinness Storehouse.

Whilst the majority of our visitors prefer to conduct their own tour at their own pace, we occasionally do get feedback that some of our visitors would prefer a more structured tour. As a result we have introduced the option of booking a guided tour for groups of six or more and this can be booked through our website. We hope you check it out next time you are in Dublin. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Sláinte!

Had hoped it was a "live" brewery, but the historical facts and the blending of the tour into the old brewery was nice. Not enough elevators. Would hate to be there when it was really crowded.

Was really looking forward to visiting here but was very disa ppointed, the only thing that i enjoyed was the lovely shop and looking over Dublin from the top of the building. My 10 year old twins couldnt wait to get out of it. Lots of bits of old machines sitting about and wee films about the old Guinness factory but to me it was man made just for tourists not worth the trip out to.

I am disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your recent visit to Guinness Storehouse. We are always very welcoming of family groups but as you said it might not be as interesting for children as it is an experience built around a beer. Thank you for your feedback- we really appreciate it! Sláinte.

Well...it certainly was an experience. Whilst it is really fasciniating to be begin with...I'd given up by the third floor as it just gets too much. The free pint at the end is great as are the views from the sky bar. Was it worth it? I dont know. If doing a self guided tour though - be wary that tour groups could well hold you up...making for a frustrating experience!

Be warned.......YOU CAN BUY (GENUINE) GUINNESS MERCH FOR SUBSTANTIALLY CHEAPER AROUND DUBLIN THAN IN THE STOREHOUSE STORE

Thank you very much for your review on your recent visit to the Home of Guinness. We are constantly investing in making the experience even better and we will certainly take your feedback on board.

I am sorry you felt the shop was a little expensive. We price our merchandise against other stores and we feel that we offer the best value for money. The Guinness Shop is unique as it has the largest range of Guinness merchandise in the world with many exclusive items only available here at the home of Guinness.

Once again thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for the lovely recommendation. Sláinte!

Awesome experience learning about the history of Guinness and the making of beer, and you could pour your own Guinness at the end! Definitely worth the money.
