We came here on a business school trip - as we booked a morning session, our hosts were most likely dismayed to see 16 American students straggle into their building, still wearing the badges of the previous night's trip to Temple Bar. Despite this, we couldn't have been happier with our experience at Experience Gaelic Games. We spent 2-3 hours there as the hosts walked us through the basics of Hurling, Handball, and Gaelic Football, including splitting into teams and playing a full game on the field. We couldn't have had more fun. The organizers were extremely patient with us as we learned the games, and they were very encouraging and instructive. Best of all - cookies and water when we came off the field! A trip to Dublin wouldn't be complete without a trip to Experience Gaelic Games, and we're so thankful for our wonderful experience there.

We were a group of 16 MBA students from Chicago that traveled through Ireland for a week, and everyone agrees that this was most definitely the highlight of our trip. The team did a great job teaching us the basics of hurling, handball, and Gaelic football and organized actual games for us to play in! Short, tall, male, female, EVERYONE enjoyed the experience and raved about how nice and entertaining the entire staff was. They even served us water and cookies throughout the morning! Next time I'm in Dublin, I will definitely visit again!

We had a fantastic time with Experience Gaelic Games. As French guys, we really did not know what to expect. We came here as a group of 10 for a bachelor party. We could learn the basics in a couple of hours with a great coach and it was very fun. It also helped us to know each other in a nice atmosphere before touring the bars in Dublin. One last thing, we were very well received the owner.

Highly recommended morning or afternoon-long activity. Take a taxi from the center of the city about 10-minutes out (approximately 10-20 euros, depending on the number of passengers) and then take a city bus (the #4 or #9) back to O'Connell Street (1.40 euros for adults and .90 for kids).

The organizers--Georgina and Anya, our "coach"--were professional, warm, and accommodating. You visit the Na Fianna Gaelic Games Association club house, where local children (the day we went) were learning to play the games, wearing colorful soccer outlets and clearly enjoying themselves.

Our group of seven--ages ranging from 55 to 12--thoroughly enjoyed our time learning the fundamentals of Gaelic football, handball, and hurling. Anya was terrific--we were shown short video clips of each game, then taught how to, for instance, kick and move the football, hit the handball (in an "alley" that resembles a racketball court), and then use the hurling stick (for which we wore appropriate and safe helmets).

After we learned the basics, we played games. The event was tailored to our group--the lessons are essentially private. Anya (and her assistant, Anthony) were absolutely lovely. Informative and fun, supportive and helpful. We had great fun trying to master the techniques and then competing against one another in short games. A wonderful, active, hands-on, outdoor activity. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time with Experience Gaelic Games -- it's great for corporate team building events, also for a groups of friends to have fun! Our team enjoyed this a lot, both Irish and foreign guys :) Also, it was perfectly tailored to the dynamics of our team, both the introductory games and the real matches.

Many of my team mates told that it was the best team building ever :) Need I say more?
