Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was value and the Breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel ta any business traveller. It is located right near Trinity College and only a 5 minute walk from Grafton Street and the restaurants and pubs.

Booked this hotel as a last minute booking via Booking.com. The rate was £40 49 In euros. Me and my partner visited Dublin for the day from Manchester as the flight was only £10 each, each way. Anyway, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to remain in Dublin, and, find accomodation at the last miniute. We found this hotel on Booking.com, and was very surprised on what great value and service we received for a low cost.

The exterior of the hotel was clean, grand and inviting, the reception/lobby area, is really dark mahogany wooded all the way round & we were greeted by a friendly receptionist - (Name I am unsure of) tall, foreign gentleman that was polite and friendly. Credit also goes to Danielle who was efficient and very friendly with a polite and welcoming manner.

The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bathroom was immaculate, and the pressure from the water/taps was great - as we had been walking all day in Dublin was great to have a nice hot bath and shower.

My only critic would be that whilst trying to sleep there was the sound of an air vent or ventilation of some sort that went on all night, resulting in us not sleeping very well through the course of the night.

We took the option of room service, and whilst we felt this was overpriced it was deffinately great value for money, however we cant complain as the room rate was so low it made up for the expensive food!

Overall a great impressive stay and will for sure use again if in the area.

Many thanks,

Old fashioned type decor etc in this hotel but with all the mod cons. A good solid hotel in a good location for business it pleasure. I stated for a weekend two weeks before Christmas. A great base and some very good offers available. I would recommend and stay there again, no problem.

We stayed at your hotel from Jan 1 to Jan 4 and then again overnight on Jan 11, 2014. We had an excellent experience at your hotel. Our rooms were great. The hotel staff stored our baggage when we arrived in the morning, so we had time for tea and scones in the restaurant and time to explore Dublin before check in time.
The location was very convenient to exploring Dublin. In five minutes we were at Trinity College, ten minutes on Grafton street and in twenty minutes we were near the river.
Bernie at the restaurant was a gem. She greeted us personally each morning, hugged us when we left, and hugged us again when we returned. She was so kind to us weary travelers.
Gary, the manger was very helpful, getting our tickets booked for a train and then arranging for site tours--even searching us out for a better deal on a nicer tour bus. We can't say enough good about the hospitality and kindness that were displayed to us on our stay at your hotel. We will return. Cheers!

Stayed for 4 nights with my boyfriend, both in our 20s. Location couldn't be better. Staff were polite but not especially friendly. Welcome wasn't very warm (only thing dropping the stars to 4). Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bathroom spotless each day. Sheets were changed only once in 4 days. But otherwise nice hotel, would recommend and return.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my wife on a city break. It's ideally located, only 5 or 10 minutes walk to the centre of the action but on a quieter street. Price was excellent value IMO, we paid £55 a night RO. Hotel was clean, quiet, very friendly and comfortable generally - nothing special but ideal for what we wanted which was a base from which to wander and explore the city. We had breakfast at Bewleys on Grafton St the first morning, £11 euros for full irish and it was great. 2nd morning pre-flight we ate breakfast at the hotel, which was pretty standard fare and did the job. Everyone we spoke to at reception was friendly and helpful. There are better but more expensive hotels, depends what you want really but we had a good overall a good experience and I'd recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms to rear of hotel, away from main street.

My best friend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights to ring in the new year. We checked into a nice room on the back side of the building, not the best view but it kept our room quiet from street noise. The area of our hotel was great! We were within a 10 minute walk of Grafton street and Temple bar. We were also directly across from a hop on hop off stop for the Dublin City tour which was super convenient.

We had breakfast included in our stay and the food was pretty good and a nice selection. Although the main kitchen was closed, we did go to the bar a few times, although it wasn't super busy the drinks were great and the bartender (Brian?) was nice. He recommended we do a short day trip to Dalkey to see some castles.

The manager of the hotel checked us in and was very helpful during our stay, his name is Gary. He recommended a wonderful French restaurant around the corner that was a little pricey but worth it once you've tasted the food. He also helped us print out vouchers for our hop on hop off bus tour, and Guinness factory. He was tending bar one of the nights we went down and someone ordered bailey's with coffee and cream, they didn't have fresh cream at the moment so he literally whipped some up for them (surprising but amazing that he would go the extra step).

The hotel itself, was clean and very nice. We had fresh towels and restocked shampoos etc. everyday. Our room was a little small, but we weren't there to board ourselves up in our room so that didn't really bother us.

All in all, we highly recommend this hotel for the excellent customer service, great location and cozy feeling.
