I booked the Harding last minute for a Saturday night stay in Dublin by myself. The location is great for walking through most of the tourist sites in Dublin. Right across the street from Christ Church, two block walk to the end of the Temple Bar streets. The staff was very courteous and helpful. After I checked out, I was able to leave my suitcase in locked storage to do some more site-seeing and the staff called a taxi for me to the airport for a set fee when I was ready. My room was the perfect size for the solo traveller. I will say I was serenaded by the church bells, but they stopped before it was late and didn't start too early. I had dinner in the pub that is attached to the hotel, and there was some live music for that evening. Overall a pleasant stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay with a group of friends. Beds are good. Hotel is perfect as a starting point to visit the very nearby attractions of Dublin. I would certainly recommend the hotel to friends for a city trip.

I had a great experience with the Harding hotel: 1) it is located on a quiet street (relatively speaking, there is still traffic but much less noise than on the neighboring streets) 2) all major attractions are within walking distance 3) express bus to the airport is just around the corner 4) courteous and competent staff. The furniture may need to be updated but the bathroom was recently renovated; my room had a fridge which was a welcome bonus.

Room Tip: I stayed on the top floor and loved it.

Great location and big room. Not sure if all the rooms are as big as mine, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, free cable TV and WiFi. There is a restaurant and pub the hotel building, but I don’t think they are not owned by the hotel people. The pub has live music almost every night. The hotel is location a few minute walk to Temple Bar, the main shopping area and Trinity College. The Guiness Brewery is about a 20 minute walk. There are a lot of good restaurants a very short walk away and the airport link shuttle bus stop is 100 feet from the hotel lobby.

We spent the last couple nights of our two week Anniversary trip to England/Ireland at the Harding Hotel. The hotel is comfortable with large rooms and fridge. It was great to be able to take the airport Airline 747 to the city. It's inexpensive and has convenient drop points. Only a block away from the Harding. Check-in was quick and easy with good advice on attractions. (One minor issue - hostess was busy talking with colleague while we want to chat. We are OK for a few minutes to wait, but she made no attempt to see what we wanted.)

Definitely worth staying there again on our return trip to Dublin.

I stayed here recently for one night and was pleased with the location, the room size and general upkeep of the property. It's a good, affordable 3 star property that I would recommend to others. Being right opposite Christchurch afforded some nice district views from the higher levels and the bell ringing was by no means intrusive. The staff are very warm and welcoming and helpful to tourists. Being on the edge of Temple Bar rather than in it is a big advantage in terms of avoiding noisy nigh time crowds.

Room Tip: Upper levels away from the street is a better bet in most hotels.

Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights in August.

Reasonably priced (although Dublin, like many capital cities, is an expensive place to visit) and very well-positioned opposite Christchurch Cathedral and a couple of minutes walk in to Temple Bar.

Room was ok. Clean, facilities were acceptable and there was plenty of space. Breakfast served downstairs in the Bistro was of good proportions and good quality. My only real complaint would be that the bar downstairs can generate a bit of noise, which can be slightly annoying. Having said that, I'd be likely to stay here again if I were to return to Dublin.
