This is a first rate budget hotel, if you're looking for some where in the heart of the entertainment centre, this a great choice. The staff are very friendly and can't do more to make your stay and your visit to dublin a great experience.

Staff very friendly but this is a Budget hotel for Stags hens sports tours etc

Room Tip: If you want a good nights sleep , go else where

When staying in a budget hotel you dont expect luxury but what you do expect is for the place to be clean and unfortunately this is not what we got with this hotel. Everywhere in the place was dirty, the carpets had all sorts of dirt on them from flaking plaster to numerous stains to the point where I would guess that the carpets had never been cleaned from the day they were laid down. There were numerous holes in the walls and doors, some had a feeble attempt at having been filed in but this looked like it had been attempted by a drunk blind person, others had just not even been touched. The shower and bathroom areas were thick with dirt, hairs and grime and clearly hadnt been properly washed or bleached in many years. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, we felt springs in our backs each time we moved. The mattresses were absolutely filthy, you would find cleaner examples thrown away on a skip and these filthy excuses for mattresses were only covered by a thin sheet, no mattress protectors. There were also numerous points in the rooms which had exposed electric wires hanging from ceilings and walls which was terribly worrying. During breakfast one of us ordered a traditional fry and asked for scrambled egg instead of a fried egg and were just brought out a plate of scrambled egg, nothing else. Another person ordered poached eggs, they had to wait for 20 minutes after the rest of us had been served and a large plate arrived with two small eggs to the side of it and nothing else, looking quite pathetic. We noticed in the reception area that there was a sign stating that this hotel had 'the best breakfast in dublin'. This is quite a statement for any hotel to make and unfortunately completely untrue where this hotel is concerned, I would advise that you remove this false advertising immediately.

The only benefit here is the location. But I would of stayed further away if I'd of known the walls & doors had holes in them, stains on the floor. Room stank. Bedding dirty. And noise till 4 then getting woken up by beer bottles being stocked at 7.
Plenty of lovely hotels in Dublin & this isn't one of them. Stay somewhere else!

Reception and personnel was very pleasant. The noise outside lasted until 4am and at 7am the first trucks came to drop off their goods. So, not very much sleep...The breakfast was more than sufficient.

Among other issues bed was less comfortable than the cobbled streets outside, no parking, no wifi, tv didn't work, smelt of urine throughout.

I think you know there's an issuewhen the staff don't bother to ask how your stay was on checkout.

Don't ever stay here
