We stayed here for two nights. We were upgraded to a better room for free when we arrived :) (always a nice surprise). Right across the road from Christchurch cathedral and Temple Bar is less than 5mins walk. The hotel was lovely and so was the room. Very clean and decorated nicely. Service was good. The only thing was the heating in the room...we woke up continuously as it was too hot - we were told to open the window and put the fan on (they supplied) but didn't help much. Other than that it was great - I'd definitely stay again although maybe in the Jury's Inn nearer the shopping area. :)

Dear Elaine M,

Many thanks for taking the time for sharing your feedback with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our new refurbished room and especially our Executive rooms.

I am sorry to hear that the room was too hot for you. We unfortunately do not have air conditioning in the hotel but we do provide fan to guests who request them.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Many Thanks
Alan Buckley

This hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Ireland, was a very enjoyable stay. Very clean and comfortable..
Walking distance to the Guiness Factory :-)))
Heads up of the regularly used church bells across the road!!!
Highly recommend the Jurys Inn :-)))))

The hotel is in a great location with Christchurch across the street. It is within walking distance of almost everything including bars at night. When I arrived at 6:50am the night shift receptionist was friendly but told me to wait for the day shift workers to check in. This was a mistake because they were rude and not helpful. When I asked when a room might be available she said 2pm was check in time although I was told previously that I would be on a wait list for an earlier room. They did not provide any information about where I could go for breakfast for visiting early in the morning until my room was ready. It took me 3 visits to the front desk until I learned that they had a map I could use. Jaysree was the main worker at the front desk but she was very rude. While the rest of the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. I received only one key instead of two and was give a hard time when I asked for another. Overall between the rude service and extra costs for parking and breakfast I would try to find another hotel to stay while in Dublin.

Pros- location, wifi, clean room
Cons- breakfast is extra $, parking is extra $, unfriendly staff, no ac, loud dumpster and work area on one side of the hotel

We stayed at Jurys Inn-Christchurch in 2011 and enjoyed it so much that when our travel plans took us back to Ireland, we stayed there again! We even requested the same room we had before (Rm 133), because we loved the view it afforded us of Christchurch Cathedral and the horse drawn carriages that would go by our window. We like being on the first (or second by US standards) level, but be aware that double-decker buses are right at window-height! The rooms have been refurbished and are very comfortable. It would be nice to have a room safe, but otherwise, the room was very clean and comfortable. And even with being on the street side, the rooms were quiet. (Except when the bells chimed on Sunday!). The staff, as always, was extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Trinity College, Stevens Green, Grafton Street, Temple Bar, and more! We added the breakfast to our room and were glad we did. It was great to start each day with a good Irish breakfast! We also ate supper our last night at the bar and had some very good pub food, along with a well poured pint of Guinness! If our travel plans ever take us back to Dublin, we will be staying a third time at Jurys Inn-Christchurch!

Room Tip: We've only stayed in the street-side rooms, but if you like a view and want to watch the city go...

On 21 June 2014, we presented late in the evening at the Jurys Inn after determining the accommodation booked by our travel agent on the other side of Dublin was sub-standard and in a most undesirable location. The staff at Jurys Inn were very courteous, understanding and helpful when we explained our predicament. What could have been a disastrous brief stay in Dublin turned into a fantastic experience. The hotel was a lovely place to stay with great food and the suggestion from one of the staff there about having a traditional Irish night at the Temple Bar resulted in one of the most enjoyable and memorable evenings of our 4 week overseas holiday.

Room Tip: We love church bells but if you don't maybe grab a room on the other side of the hotel.

Decent rooms - what I expected for a chain hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. The location and price fit our needs perfectly. Across the street from Christ Church and close to Temple Bar - easy walk. We walked to Trinity College and Grafton Street to shop from the hotel and our 9 year old made it just fine. Easy to get a taxi out front each time we needed to. Felt safe and comfortable in our stay here.
