Just had a great weekend at this hotel. Nice big clean room with very comfortable beds and big bathroom. we arrived at 9.30am and were given a room straight away which was great after such an early start in Manchester airport.

Great location just up the road from the river and there's a bus stop right outside of the hotel for the Guniess Brewery. Very handy.

Breakfast rivaled that of Hilton breakfasts we've had, plenty of choice and always fresh and hot. Saturday night must have been a sell out however as there was quite a queue on Sunday morning for breakfast but one of the waiter's came round with fresh orange juice while we stood. Nice touch.

When we ordered room service that came quite quickly for it being in the middle of the night.

Already recommended this hotel to my parents and my partner and I would definately stay again.

Dear Fluff1704

Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your stay at The Gresham Hotel.

We are all delighted you had enjoyed your stay and this git off to a good start by having your room ready at 9.30am. Whilst we do have a guaranteed check in time of 3pm, there is never any harm in checking on the room if any of our guests are arriving early in the morning. If the room is ready, we can get you checked in. Should it not be ready, we can store luggage etc. until it is.

We do advise our guests on check in, especially on weekends, that breakfast will be busy. As one of the few hotels that serves breakfast until 12 pm on the weekend, we note that it is busy from 10am until 11am. Should any of our guests want a more leisurely breakfast, we do recommend dining outside of this time.

We shall all be delighted to welcome you back to The Gresham in the future and please do not hesitate to contact me directly where you will be assured of our most favourable room rates.

Yours Sincerely

We booked this hotel for a weekend city break and the location is fantastic, with the airport bus stopping directly outside.

I loved the public areas, particularly the Writer's Bar, which served fantastic cocktails. We had a room only deal so didn't have breakfast or any other meals. However, there were lots of cafés and restaurants nearby so this wasn't an issue.

We were on the 5th floor and, whilst the room was big with a double and single and a separate toilet and shower/bathroom, the room was quite tired and not what we expected from a 4* hotel. However, it was all spotlessly clean.

Good quality 4* hotel from which to explore Dublin.

Room was large and we'll appointed with good sized bathroom with separate shower. Comfortable bed and very clean. Very quiet.

Concierge was helpful and provided luggage storage and umbrella for the glorious Dublin sunshine!

Breakfast was good but does get busy on a weekend morning so had to wait to be seated. Had average lunch at today's bar.

Location is within easy walking distance of main shopping areas and temple bar.

Room Tip: We had room 278.

Dear RJC1

Thank you for your review following your stay at The Gresham Hotel.

We do appreciate your feedback and we are delighted you had enjoyed your stay.

The Gresham is one of the very few hotels until 12 noon on Saturday on Sunday. We do aim to inform each guest that breakfast is busy from 10am until 11am and we do recommend avoiding this time for a more leisurely breakfast.

We shall, of course, be delighted to welcome you back to The Gresham Hotel on your next Dublin visit.

Yours Sincerely

I spent 1 night here midweek. I booked via Expedia the day before as it was a last minute business trip, so got a reasonable rate. The location is very central and handy for sightseeing. The check in was painless, I was in room 447. I took the lift to the 4th floor and turned onto a corridor which was probably the longest hotel corridor I have ever seen! My room was around two thirds of the way along. The room was spacious and had a wonderfully comfortable bed, which was well dressed. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, my only criticism would be there was a bit of a musty smell in the room. This could be due to there being no extractor in the bathroom. I had a meal in the brasserie which was good quality and reasonably priced. I felt sorry for the waitress as there was only her serving the whole restaurant so she was run off her feet. Breakfast was a buffet affair and again good quality with an excellent selection of items. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a nice touch. My colleague was happy because he spotted Brendan from the tv show coach trip at breakfast and had a chat with him......my reaction was......who??? All in all a good stay, particularly because of the bed.........hotels who spend a little more on their mattresses it shows . Would I stay here again.....yes but I would ensure I got a deal. Try to make sure breakfast is included as it is quite pricey to pay it separately.

This hotel is in a great location for all of Dublin's tourist attractions. The rooms were clean, warm and nicely decorated. However because of the size of the hotel I felt that it lacked any real personality, and really we might as well have stayed in a travel lodge.

Stayed in the Gresham on a very cold and wet January weekend. The hotel however was the opposite; warm and welcoming. On arrival we were asked if we prefered a front or back facing room. We opted for front and wern't dissapointed. Whilst there was traffic noise the view and comfortable room more than made up for this. Have stayed in this hotel before and love its central location and comfortable public areas and look forward to visiting again.
