You can reach by airport bus in fromt of this hotel. And if you have ticket like freedom ticket to take bus all day or all 3 days, you can go almost any place including seaside. The breakfast was very nice and rooms are well ( depends on the room. sometimes a bit old ). and the staff are very kind. You also need t get Dubin pass ( better to get by internet before ) to have valuable visit.

Room Tip: old part is cold but wider.

So we had problems getting a passport in time and we just got married Saturday and decided few nights away within ireland would be nice. I had heard wonderful things about The Gresham Hotel and we thought why not its our honeymoon after all. Arrived in Dublin by train got the Luas ( for any one that doesnt know what this is its a tram/light rail service in Dublin) we got off at abbey street and headed to O'Connell Street which is like a minute or two walk. No need for taxis. From there we took a right and straight up to the hotel. When we arrive its a beautiful building with the wow factor not just from the outside but also the inside. Went to reception and got our room number and key. Check in was so easy have our name but had email on phone just in case but no need for that it was just straight forward. Staff on reception were great gave us all information need and more. Up to room and was amazed how big the room was. Beautifully decorated with art work by lavery. Elegant and bright. We didnt have dinner at hotel decided to do a hop on hop off bus tour which leaves 2 minutes walk from hotel its worth trying and you can get off at places you always wanted to go to. Anyways we had breakfast the next morning in the hotel. There was a wide range of food. Had some fruit followed by egg and sausage wasnt really wanting full irish but my husband did both were amazing. They bring down coffee and juice to you so its great. Have to say the amount of staff and the way the breakfast room was managed ive never seen such a professional service. Will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff :)

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Gresham for 2 nights while celebrating our anniversary. We decided on the hotel as it was in the middle of the city centre with easy access to public transport and close to many local visitor attractions. We alos got a very good deal. I was impressed with the hotel itself, staff were welcoming and the room was very clean and spacious. The view out the window was not as pleasant but I understand you pay more money to look out onto the O'Connell Street, which wasn't really a big thing for us. Food was a little expensive in the hotel itself, especially breakfast, considering you can get a very good feed for nearly a quarter of the price at one of the nearby cafes. Overall we had a very lovely stay in the hotel and would probably go back.

Dear LCraig2013

Many thanks for your kind comments in your review, following your stay at The Gresham Hotel.

As we are located within the city centre, many of our rooms overlook the back of the hotel and our neighbouring buildings.

Whilst there are lesser priced options in the city centre for breakfast, they would not compare to the variety and quality of fresh produce on offer at The Gresham.

I am delighted to read you had enjoyed your stay with us and we do hope to welcome you back in the not too distant future.

Yours Sincerely
Andrew Walker

A few friends stayed in the Gresham hotel as part of my birthday celebrations. Check in was effortless, rooms were terrific, the staff were so welcoming both at reception, bar and at breakfast. The late breakfast time was so appreciated after a rather late night. Breakfast was really good with a lovely array of food and such friendly helpful staff.....can't wait to make up an excuse to visit here again...

The Gresham Hotel is a fine example of the glories of Dublin town. The location couldn't be better for exploring the city, going to the theatres or visiting the museums. The front of the hotel is grand and the interior stylish. The staff are really friendly, efficient and so helpful. It's the best place to stay,in style,in this great city.

My wife and I satyed at the Gresham hotel which is in the heart of Dublin City. The hotels location is perfect for all you need to see in Dublin. The hotel is very quaint and the staff are highly trained and always ready to help with any query. The food is excellent and the service is second to none. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip. Perfect all round.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the higher floors so you can get a beautiful view of Dublin
