A friend and I stayed at the Gresham for 1 night having come down from N Ireland for a night out. However on the journey there I fell and broke my wrist. We didnt know this at the time of arriving at the hotel and just asked for some ice for the swelling. The hotel staff were really friendly and attentive helped us with looking for a good restaurant( a great Chinese on Dame St) then on my return Pam, the night manager arranged for a doctor to call me due to the problems with my hand. The hand was really black and in a bad state due to the fall. I decided to go to hospital.
Nothing was too much trouble they called me a cab to A & E at the hospital, asked me to call them when I was ready to come back from hospital( I was there all night) and offerd us late check out so we could sleep if required.
The hotel room itself was reasonable but but it was the service and shared areas that made it so brilliant. I would recommend it to anyone.
