We stayed as a group and as it was my partners bday So they gave us a upgrade. We checked into room 540 and it was amazing. The staff were great friendly and efficient. Food in the bar was great and reasonable priced. Wished we stayed another night! Will most def be back.

Room Tip: Georgian wing is great!

Check in staff was very disorganized. I would not recommend staying here!
We ended up changing hotels due to poor service.

Was booked with RailTours Ireland and they told us it was a Four Start Hotel. It was newly furbished but the toilets were AWFUL. I took a shower in the most hideous contraption called a shower and had laid my clothes on the commode. When I picked up my clothes, I saw feces all over the lid. It was on the walls and everywhere. I didn't bathe there again (only there two nights). I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Room Tip: Try another hotel!

Dear Guest

We pride ourselves on being a quality 3 star hotel maintaining high housekeeping standards. Cleanliness and hygiene are of the utmost importance.

We took your comments very seriously and have investigated the matter. The stains that you found in the bathroom were nail polish which we have now removed. For this we genuinely apologise.

Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention and I would ask you to contact me either directly(operations@beresfordhotelifsc.com) or through your agent to discuss the matter further if you so wish.

Kind regards
Marek Jozwiak

My wife and I spent two nights there (booked by our tour company as a supposed four star hotel). There were loose floor tiles in the bathroom, remnants of something sticky on part of the carpet, and a squeaky floor. It was also noisy, right next to the bus station, train station and frequent foot traffic. However, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean and functional. It'll do in a pinch but I wouldn't recommend it. They do have laundry service and I did not have the problems another reviewer had.

Staff were helpful, especially the man who got us through the rather laborious wifi setup. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. Good beds. Heating still on which I appreciated, as it is very cold. Great breakfast with good range of food. Great location if you only have a couple of days in Dublin, you can walk to city centre, shops, bus station and train handy. Surprisingly quiet for being so close to city centre. Would recommend.

Handy to walk to all tourist locations. From the outside it is not very appealing - maybe some colorful flags out front or nice awnings would help or even some plants/flowers. Room very comfortable and despite bus terminal over the road had a peaceful nights sleep unable to hear any noises. Very handy for travellers to be near the bus terminal and Connolly Station in the next street. Staff have been very friendly and helpful. If I have a complaint it would be about the wi-fi set up!!!

Room Tip: Get a room on levels 1, 2 or 3 as level 4 does not have a lift - lots of stairs.
