“Nice weekend break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2014 via mobile

Stayed for the Six Nations weekend, a group of nine. The hotel is ideally situated, far enough out of the main hustle of town but with really easy access via bus/tram etc.
We arrived early, too early to check in, but were safely able to leave our luggage and head out for the day. Check in was easy on our return.
I shared a twin room. It had ample space, comfy bed, extra pillows and blankets. The bathroom was a decent size with a great shower. We were at the front of the hotel, I wasn't disturbed at all by any noise outside at night. We discovered the safe wasn't working, but after reporting it the first morning it was swiftly fixed before we left for the day.
Breakfast was lovely, full choices of hot and cold food. It did get a little busy on the last morning, but still plenty for everyone.
We ate in the restaurant on the first night, very tasty Italian food and relatively reasonable as we did the 'meal deal' they had available.
The only blight to our stay was at check out when we discovered that someone had charged a meal and drinks to one of our party's rooms for an evening when we hadn't even been there all day. It took quite a bit of persuasion and proof of signatures before it was taken off the bill, so that was a bit disappointing, although it was resolved in the end.
If I visit Dublin again, I would probably choose this hotel again.

We stayed here over valentines weekend. As it was a special 50th birthday for me, my wife called ahead to ask if they offered any kind of upgrades for birthdays etc.We had booked 3 rooms for the whole family and when we got there the hotel had upgraded all 3 rooms! A very nice touch - thank you Beresford. The staff could not have been friendlier and the rooms we were given in the Georgian Suites were really lovely. The only small gripe I would have was that the bath was tiny and the wifi was a bit temperamental. The breakfast was very good and the location is very handy for Connolly Train station, the Luas trams, O'Connell Street, and a short 10minute walk across the Liffey to Temple Bar and on to Grafton Street. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin.

I stayed here on a business trip. This is a great hotel with excellent location. I have stayed here on a number of occasions. Staff are pleasent. Rooms are very nice and big. I got a nice room towards the back of the hotel. Also hotel was nice and quiet although I was woken up by the sound of voices and doors closing. Only down fall is that there is no free wifi available. Location was excellent and very close to all amenities eg bus, dart & Luas also there's many shops and restaurants near by.

Room Tip: Get room to the back of hotel as noise from traffic and passers by can be noisy.

Stayed at the Beresford four nights during a work trip. Found it clean, service was nice and forthcoming. The hotel is conveniently located next to bus and metro station. Will return there next time over.

Room was warm and bright. Bed was huge!! It appeared to be 2 queens put together. We stayed in room 311, top floor on the corner so it was a little bigger than other rooms, not your typical square space.

If you like a hot and extremely powerful shower, you won't be dissapointed. All the usual toiletries you'd expect.

If you're a light sleeper I'd suggest the first or second floor at the back of the hotel, fairly noisy from the luas and Busàras plus the walls curve with the roof so the curtains aren't flush with the wall, not the darkest room.

Perfect hotel for the price we paid and the staff were friendly and efficient. Great for a one night stay in the city, would definitely stay again.

This hotel was fantastic! could not have asked for a better location, 15 minute walk from the Temple Bar area. Stayed here for a weekend with fiends and will stay here again when visiting Dublin in the summer. The staff were all very helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean.

I like the Beresford - close to Busaras , Luas and the Dart @ Connolly station - have stayed here on a number of occasions - always book through their own website - staff have always been very pleasant - rooms have been ok - breakfast (buffet) caters for all tastes - availed of offer for over 55s - paid 44.10 euros for a sunday night with breakfast - great deal - hope to be back in the very near future.
