Had a guys/sports weekend in Dublin for Kerry v Dublin and following day Ireland v Scotland.. We stayed central was looking at hotels but have used short lets before so tried Molesworth suites this time around. What a great experience very accommodating and very nice apartments.

The staff including Riona were exceptional and their positive and helpful attitude to assist at any hour of the day was fantastic. The suite were spotlessly clean and had all convenience's needed for your visit

We were close to shops pubs restaurants and late night Ron Blacks is just across the road, you will not regret staying here and I will definitely come back again.

Room Tip: There isn't a lift so if your an older guest or have kids try and get 1st floor

My two friends and I stayed here for a Christmas weekend getaway. It is in a very central location with everything you need within walking distance, which is great. We were 64 Euros for a return taxi to and from the airport (approx. 30 mins each way) which is also very good. Where I was disappointed was the complete difference in how the apartments are described on the website to what we actually stayed in. Our balcony looked onto a back door of a restaraunt and car park, of which was a part time construction site. True, we were only looking to use the hotel as a head rest but it was hard even to get that with. It was stated to be a 4 man apartment, yet they only provide 2 sets of toiletries and 2 breakfasts. Yes, it is a self-catering apartment and for a city centre location was a great price but in all honesty my student halls were of a better standard. The apartments you see on the website are obviously going to be the pick of the bunch.

This is a self catered apartment. We stay in the one and the 2 bedroom apartments. The decor is very nice and modern. There are cute little balconies with lovely flowers. It is located just behind the Shelbourne close to St Stephans Green,Grafton Street and the Art Gallery.
Donaghues pub is around the corner worth a visit...there is also a supermarket near by to stock up.
Breakfast very basic.

We stayed here for a week earlier this month and were very pleased with our accommodations. As many other reviews have stated, the location is one of the best aspects of Molesworth. You are within walking distance of everything in the city centre and close to bus and train stops. The condition of our apartment (#6) was very good. Was it brand new? No, but for heaven's sake, it's a hotel, its going to show some wear. Besides, all you really need is a good clean place to sleep and shower and Molesworth is much more than that. Having a full kitchen and a washer/dryer was a huge step up from a traditional hotel. We were able to put something in the washer/dryer before we left in the morning and it would be clean and dry that evening when we returned. Be sure to follow the directions on small loads. Overloading won't get things dry.

Riona was a great host with many helpful suggestions. We weren't looking to have our hands held, we were looking for exactly what this is, a "self-catering" facility where people take responsibility for some of their accommodations.

Bring your own washcloths if you don't want to bathe with hand towels, but that is a small thing.

I would highly recommend Molesworth Suites. We loved it.

Room Tip: We were on the back side but I don't think it would really matter.

As mentioned in many other reviews, the very best thing about these apartments is their fantastic location: right in the heart of the best part of Dublin's city centre, yet tucked away in a fairly quiet lane. The apartment itself was very compact, yet clean and comfortably furnished, if a bit on the spartan side. Our two small, sunny, south facing balconies were simply lovely, and added greatly to our enjoyment of the space.

On the minus side, the service was rather lacking - a couple of basic housekeeping items were never delivered, despite our repeated requests. The mid-stay (we were there 5 nights) room cleaning that we had been advised of never occurred. The apartment itself had a few minor maintenance issues, and showed some wear. The price seemed rather high, but still a decent value, in comparison to comparable hotel rooms.

The one staff member who did stand out as being exceptionally friendly and helpful was the lovely Riona, who, sadly for us, had her days off during the middle of our stay. Thank you, Riona.

On balance, a great little find, just don't expect luxury or much in the way of service.

Room Tip: South facing apartments might get you a little sun.

I chose Molesworth Court largely on the basis of location - roughly half way between St Stephen's Green and Trinity College, and minutes from Grafton St. It's tucked away in a little lane right in the heart of Dublin. Things didn't start brilliantly, as despite booking online with a deposit paid, the person at reception couldn't find any evidence of my booking. Fortunately a room was available, and after a bit of shuffling everything was sorted. The apartment itself was a little tired and in need of some updating, but clean and comfortable. There are no lifts, so if you're on the 5th floor like we were, there's a bit of lugging to do. The kitchen facilities are basic but adequate, and there is also a washer dryer.
Good value, brilliant location and friendly, helpful staff made for a great stay despite a few minor issues.

Room Tip: Make sure you take the directions supplied, as it's in a small lane - our cab driver was very gr...

I can not say enough about the wonderfull service offerd by rionna , the manager. The apartments were spacious and clean. Just a couple minutes from the centre of everythinh. What a gem. I will definately return
