Very poor: no way is this place 4 star. Very small apartment. Furniture was cheap, dirty and stained. A very musty smell in the apartment. Reminded me of my student days in dodgy flats. Also extremely overpriced for what you get. While it is located in an area close to to the centre of town you can find much better prices and quality in Dublin. I cannot understand how anyone could give this place more than one star!

canneyr, Manager at Molesworth Court Suites, responded to this review, 22 December 2009
It is with great dissapointment that I read this very misleading review, after numerous telephone conversations and time given to answer questions and being helpfull in everyway with queries this family decided to make a booking with us, they had been advised that the 2 bedroom suite slept 4 people comfortable and it was not suitable for 6 people, we suggested the penthouse which they point blankly declined, so the 2 bedroom standard was booked with 2 extra beds at a reduced rate and with them getting a free night stay. On arrival they found the suite to small, eventhough we went to great lengths to expain this beforehand.
The night staff had decided to contact me about upgrading them and it was intended to do so at no extra charge but they left the building before she even got to offer it.
I also called them the following day and suggested the penthouse but found it extremely difficult to deal with such a rude reaction.
I inspected the suite on my arrival to Molesworthcourt Suites and under NO circumstances was the suite musty, dirty etc I take a huge offence to this being written and have no problem inviting anyone in for an on the spot inspection to see that we have our suites cleaned to a very high standard and do everything possible to ensure that all guests have a plesant and happy stay with us in very clean ,hygenic and comfortable enviornment.
We rented out that same room to a family of 4 some days later and they were very happy with the place and had a very different opinion on the suite than that of this reviewer!
We take such pride in working here and being apart of Molesworthcourt Suites that we strive to offer a very good, helpfull, professional service to all people who from the moment they make that first contact with us to the time they check out . R Canney,Manager.

On your arrival at the Molesworth Suites you will be greeted by Riona Carney and a staff that will do their utmost to make your stay memorable and one one that you will want to repeat. I've been staying at the Suites for years and February 2010 will be my 50th trip to Dublin. Superlatives? Read the reviews and the honest feelings of others who have found the best location in Dublin for pleasant memories of their trip.

I have stayed here twice now and am in the process of booking it again for November. The location is fantastic, rooms well equipped, kitchens more than adequate with all mod cons. Excellent value for money!

We rented 2 two bedroom apts for a week - for my family of 4 and my parents. The staff was friendly and amazingly helpful (some 40 somethings in the next room came back from a day of golfing and a night of boozing and the staff was on them in an instant to "turn it down"; they did a huge research project to determine some train and bus schedules).

The apts are fairly large but also bare bones. Clean but nothing fancy. Could easily live there for an extended period.

The location is by far the best part. Close to everything. I cannot emphasize enough how great the address was.

No health club but they called the local high end club and got me a week long membership for a very reasonable price.

Our family of five felt so fortunate to come across the Molesworth Court Suites on tripadvisor.com last spring when booking lodging in Dublin. All the positive reviews proved to be so true and we want to add to that list of satisfied guests. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome from the wonderful (and very helpful and accommodating) staff -- each one was there to help with whatever we needed. We rented the penthouse, which turned out to be a great deal for a large family, wanting to have some extra space (and kitchen and laundry facilities in our unit). What a spacious and lovely two-level unit this is! We had fabulous weather and were able to enjoy our outdoor patio each day. No, there is not much of a view from there (except the tops of other buildings), but it is fairly quiet since the hotel is on a back street and not one of the noisy main streets. The bedrooms were clean and well kept, as well as the bathrooms. Our living space was lovely and well appointed. The location is second to none -- only blocks away from the best sites in Dublin (St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street, Trinity College, etc.). We will recommend the Molesworth Court Suites to anyone we know who is traveling to Dublin! Thank you for making our stay there so special!

Tips: Traveling to Ireland in the summer is wonderful, as it stays light until about 10:30 p.m. at the height of summer. We were there from June 21-July 3 and couldn't believe the long days of daylight ! We had fabulous weather -- maybe one day of rain. The luck of the Irish was with us!

This hotel had very clean rooms and good service. They helped us with our taxi and had a friendly staff. The bath's were clean and nice. The breakfast here was good and offered at a discounted price with the room cost. It is a short walk to bus stops, attractions, and many places to eat and shop.
