“Not bad for conference lodgings”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

I stayed in Roebuck Hall for five days; this was my second time lodging at UCD and I found the new dorms at Roebuck clean and accommodating. The water pressure was amazing. As pointed out by others, there is a lot of walking involved, and the less said about breakfast the better, but it is quite easy to get into town on the bus, and a pleasant walk to Donnybrook.

Stayed in Roebuck Hall. These were campus rooms of good standard. Very clean with good en suite bathroom. Quiet, at least without the students.

Quite a lot of walking involved: From reception to rooms, to breakfast hall, and to bus stops.

Make sure you have a campus map, and Dublin Bus timetable app. The new Dublin transport "Leap Card" is available from the Centra shop by the reception. Check what is included in the breakfast before you go to cashier and have to pay extra!

First bad thing....I´m a little girl and no one could help me with my giant luggage (compared to me)...not event to open the lobby door!!!
Second thing...There were spiders in my room!!!Third.... the lamp wasn´t working in my room...I told the recepcionist and they said they would fix it. I went to the city centre....and when I came back...no change.....I went to the reception and they gave me another lamp.... to change... I had to change their lamp....Fourth....the lamp on teh corridor was also broken.... no one would ever fix it....
Good things...There´s a Centra nearby....Excellent bus facilities
