We stayed for two nights at the Arlington, and it was generally a nice experience. On the first night we were in room 130 and had to change room because of the noise from the ventilation fans, and while we didn’t get to move straight away on the first night, the staff were quiet helpful and our stay went smoothly. While not a luxury hotel by any means, the room where clean and comfortable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and central place to stay while visiting the city. I also would recommend the Celtic dance show and dinner in the club just below the hotel which is reasonably priced and fun.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less A/C unit noise Rooms on the south side are quieter

Great room in the center of Dublin. Located on the River Liffey, close to the Half Penny bridge, everything in Dublin is within a 15 minute walk and only 5 minutes from the Temple Bar area. The rooms were well sized and in excellent condition and the included breakfast in the hotel restaurant comes highly recommended. Staff very friendly and room rates very reasonable. If we came back to Dublin, we'd stay here again with no hesitation.

We stayed in Dublin for a long weekend and decided to go to this place to enjoy traditional Irish dancing and music. We were a group of 6 people, and we decided that having a 3 course dinner was a bit too much for us. Therefore, I spoke to the person in charge and asked her about the possibility of having a 1 course dinner (+ desserts and drinks!) since teh 3-course option was beyond our dietary needs. The person in charge was sooo nice to let us have a table for the six of us with our special dinner, even though she told me she didn't really know where she could place the table in the room due to the occupancy of the night.

When we arrived there at dinner time, I was surprised to be taken to our table, which was next to the stage! I couldn't believe it! The place was full, and we could enjoy their wonderful dinner and the show.

I recommend both, the dinner and the show. Each of us ordered a different dish and they were all perfect. Beautifully served and tasting deliciously! The waitresses were very nice and made sure everything was perfect. The person in charge who had met our needs came to our table to ask if everything was going good. How nice of her!

As for the show, the music, the dancing... everything was perfect. The band was really nice as well and made the night an unforgettable one.

No wonder I would go back again if in Dublin.

We did not stay here but dined here on the two evenings. The food is very nice and the staff even nicer. Dermot, the bar man was very friendly on the first night and kept everyone in craic while working away. On the second night, Mike served us and again was very friendly. A band and Irish dancers entertained us on the first night, and a man was singing on the second night. All very enjoyable. The food is reasonable and I would go back again.

Stayed at the Arlington O'Connell in November with my husband and would highly recommend it. Great location to walk to nearby sights or grab the hop on hop off bus right outside hotel. Delicious food in hotel restaurant. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food to choose from. Dinner and show was well worth the price and the best show compared to many at other hotels in the city. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Unfortunately spent €10 per head to hear without doubt the worst band ever. It's NYE and while I don't expect to see outstanding live music the least I 'd expect is a lead singer who could sing. Absolute Rip off. Never Again. Need to Raise standards as IMO it's not good enough.
