This hotel is in the ideal location, especially if you want to escape some of the hen & stag rowdiness of Temple Bar in the evening - but it's just a few minutes walk. The hotel has a fab bar with a great atmosphere all hours of the day and night. There was a live band on both evenings and in their basement they hold themed Irish nights. The bedrooms we had were of high quality and spacious. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. The staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful and couldn't do enough to help. It's our second visit to the hotel and is definitely our hotel of choice when visiting Dublin.

There is not enough I can say - it's a wonderful hotel - When I stayed there it was the week of the bombing in Boston, and I am from Boston - such concern and compassion from the staff - I will never forget

Room Tip: If you value friendly staff - excellent and full Irish breakfast - free newspapers - and a quiet Hot...

We stayed one night here on our first night in Ireland. After arriving very early in the morning, getting the rental car and heading there, we were there by 6:30. They gladly held on to our luggage and directed us to parking (Jarvis parking lot...I think it was). Typically it would be 19 euros for a full day and night but hotel guests get it for 10 if you mention it when leaving the garage. It is a bit of a walk on cobblestone so I suggest dropping your bags off and then parking.. Don't need your car at all in Dublin.

The breakfast was good. Traditional Irish breakfast and all the additional continental stuff. Room was very large from what I am used to in Europe (we were upgraded for free I think). Generally clean, shower was a bit tough but I am 6'3 so a little too tall for the shower. If you are staying on the third floor, bags can be tough to get up there on your own but they are very helpful. Location is great as well. Just across the river from a lot of awesome stuff and also close to jameson!

Great location, very clean and big room, shame about the terrible reception staff with absolute no regard for customer service! Completly rude and unwelcoming, made it seem like we were a Hassel for them! One reception staff called gillian was particularly awful not a single smile or even idea of how to treat PAYING customers!!

This hotel was average. The room was dated, and my husband could hardly fit into the shower at 6'2". The mattress was ok, not the best sleep I've had. Staff was nice and they have a neat Irish bar/restaurant attached to the lobby of the hotel.

Stayed here one night for a function adjacent to the hotel. Rooms are very dated and somewhat basic, though you get what you pay for. This hotel is good for a night out in a Dublin if you are not after anything to sophisticated.

Breakfast wasn't great if honest, poor quality meat and very old style settings. As noted you get what you pay for. I would stay Gain though for the very reasonable price.
