“Perfect overnight stay for an early ferry”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

We stayed here at the end of a coach holiday, ready for the early ferry back to the UK. Friendly, efficient staff who couldn't do more to help. Meals good quality and well organised. Bar very expensive but just meant we drank less. Room comfortable and roomy. Busy, noisy road at the front but the sea view made up for it. Nice shower.

Not the sort of place I'd want to spend several days at but ideal for stop overs.

Stayed for one night on a Just ago Holiday. Hotel was clean on a busy road, overlooking the sea, had a evening meal there which I would say was ok but not great. The bedrooms are clean and much like any other.
As we had to leave early in the morning, to catch the ferry they would not serve us all with breakfast, but supplied two bits of bread with a bit of ham slapped in the middle, not cut in half and a apple. Most of the other passengers in our party left them on the ferry. Disappointed with this let the hotel down.

Great sea view. A functional hotel, needs updating but acceptable. Close to St. Vincents Hospital thence my reason for staying there. Also bus into city centre stops outside hotel as does Aircoach . Also easy to get to by car.

Stayed 5 nights. Found the staff very friendly and efficient. The main problem is the double glazing which is very old and should be replaced. Currently some noise can be expected from
road traffic and the front rooms and a generator type sound at the rear.
Overall the hotel is quite acceptable and I would certainly stay again.
The quality of the breakfast is excellent and the one bar meal I ate was worth every euro.

Room Tip: Ask for an executive type room it may cost more but they are worth it.

Great Location, Friendly and Helpful Staff, great sea views from front bedrooms. Great value @ 55 euros/room/night. Full Irish Breakfast only 4.50 euros/head as part of OTEL package. While Hotel is in need of some decorating especially in Bar and Restaurant it is quite acceptable and functional as a rated three star hotel in a convenient and attractive location. Good Transport links including DART and Bus Routes. Filling station(gas) and convenience shop with ATM immediately adjacent. Would use again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view on the third floor or higher!

The personal is very nice and do their best but over all I won't come back. There's too many extra fees for things that should be included in the price like wifi and BREAKFAST. So that really bothered me. It's a bit far from Dublin city as well. But you get what you pay for (exept breakfast). Probably won't recomend this hotel to anyone..

We stayed here for 3 days. The staff was friendly in majority but you will find a few very rude ones too.
The room was cozy with nice bathroom.
No room service, no wifi in rooms.

Free wifi only available in main lobby which because of this reason was crowded most of the time.

Stayed December 2013, travelled on business
