“Comfortable and Close”

The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. The hallway decor was a bit burlesque, but it was fun. Lobby was beautiful. Breakfast only marginal. Next to fire department, but not noisy. Walking distance to Trinity and Temple Bar.

The hotel was easy to find and in a great location. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready. The staff throughout the whole stay were excellent. The rooms were clean, a good size and nicely decorated. We were in one of the rooms towards the back of the hotel so the we did not experience any noise. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel is how hot it is, there is only a small window which you can open, however they do provide fans for the bedrooms, though I am lead to believe there is air con in the suites. Breakfast was very good each morning with plenty of choice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Concierge Anne Marie was a gem - Bar staff was tremendous in spite of our boisterous/loquatious behaviour. Location was quite good for taking in the riches of Dublin city.
Wi Fi was up and down by the hour.
Room was a bit stuffy (Weather was a little humid and warm - and an AC-equipped room cost 35 Euro extra per night) Took a couple of requests to secure a fan for room, but it was small help as windows only opened a smidge. Elevators were made for Leprechauns. Rest of hotel was quite interesting, delightfully kitchy in decoration. Nice outside lounge in front, but drink service in that area was a bit spotty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Hotel was easy to find in a great location walking distance to all the major attractions.

Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout from the main reception to the breakfast to dinner and the bar staff.

Room was clean nicely decorated and everything we needed.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break in Dublin. Great value.

This hotel is well situated, only a short walk to the start of Grafton street and Temple Bar, it is just far enough away so it's a bit quieter but close enough to be convenient. There is a Dart station just round the corner, and major bus route stops at end of road. Friendly staff, who where always happy and cheerful and able to help with all requests. The hotel is an eclectic mix of some modern colours and styles with ornaments from Egypt etc. The breakfast is good value (cheaper than a couple of local cafes) if not included with your room rate. The room was clean, tidy with kettle, iron, hairdryer and Tv, aircon worked a treat. We where at the front right next to fire station, double glazing made room very quiet. Would certainly stay again if in Dublin.

We stayed here for 3 nights after travelling 36 hours from NZ. We were greeted warmly and our room was ready. We had requested a quiet room and we were located in the Tara bedrooms (room 166) which was very quiet even though it was above the fire station. The decor as everyone has said is very OTT, however the room was fine. The roo was hot but we did have air con. Wi-fi was good and we had no issues for the whole stay. All in all we would recommend.

Staying in the same boring beige hotels can get really boring, this was something a little bit unusual with the statues throughout the hotels and individual décor in the rooms. Staff were really nice especially as we had a bit of a mix up when it came to check out. The location is pretty good and the breakfast was amazing.
