This Hotel is perfect for those long weekend trips. It is within easy walking distance of everything Dublin has to offer. As already stated, the Airport bus stops right outside. The room was spacious and clean and fit for purpose and the breakfast is great value. Even with the nightly entertainment any noise was minimal (cant speak for every room of course). We never did take in the entertainment on offer and preferred the hostelries of Temple Bar within easy walking distance. All in all the perfect location for a Dublin stay.

Stayed here over new year and went to the celtic night on new years eve. Good value with three course meal and dancers and irish musicians to see the new year in. Excellent location if you catch the coach from the airport as it stops right outside. Our room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was cooked to order with lots of choices.

The Arlington is very well placed for Temple Bar, shopping and restaurants/bars
The attached pub is excellent - good array of beers inc Kilkenny, decent menu for food and the floor show at night is a must. You can do the dinner/dance if you wish for 33 euros, but the floor show is free to watch.
The room was more than adequate for 2 nights - bit of noise post 3 am on the Sunday morning, including emergency vehicle's twos and blues but you are in a city centre, so to be expected.
The one thing that blighted our stay was the fact that the breakfast start times differ, depending on what day it is ie on the Saturday morning, it was 0700 to 1000 but on the Sunday morning, we checked out at 0700 looking to forward to some brekkie prior to being picked up for the airport at 0730, to be told that the restaurant didn't open until 0730 on a Sunday, so the staff could have an extra half hour in bed !!!

Haha - you couldn't make it up grrrrr

Even so, we'd definitely recommend the Arlington to anyone wanting close access to Temple Bar, O'Connell Street etc - just check what day it is to see what time breakfast is, which was fantastic on the Satuday btw - couldn't tell you what it's like on a Sunday :-(

We didn't actually stay at the Arlington Hotel, just visited the bar. The atmosphere is great with dim lighting and tea lights on the table, just what you'd expect from a typical Irish bar.

We ate at the bar twice during our visit and both nights were not disappointed. The Guinness & Beef pie is to die for! The staff are great, can't fault them at all - such personalities! :)

You simply must go to the Arlington whilst in Dublin. You're in for a treat! Will definitely be back!

We couldn't fault this hotel.

I have stayed here twice now and would definitely stay here again. For a very reasonable price you get a room with everything you need for a city break...bed, television, adequate bathroom, plenty of storage space, tea/coffee making facilities, such lovely staff, restaurant and bar attached and a superb location!

This hotel isn't a 5* luxury spa, the rooms are a little dated but everything is spotless and very well maintained. The food is beautiful and reasonably priced plus they have live Irish dance shows on selected nights. Some people have complained about the noise but I've stayed on both the front and back of the hotel on 2nd and 3rd floors and we had no issues.

Its situated on Lord Edward St which is opposite local newsagents and is literally less than 2 minutes walking distance from all the pubs clubs and eateries on the famous Temple Bar. Plus the hop-on hop-off bus tour stops right across the road! You couldn't ask for more!

Let's face it when you come to Dublin you don't come to sit in your hotel room...you want to get out and experience this wonderful city for yourself. So for somewhere to lay your head you are getting extremely good value for money!

I would recommend this hotel for all, groups, individuals, young and old (but youg-hearted) alike!

Stayed in this hotel for one night in january. Room 202 was a good size and so was the bathroom. Only expected to have a double bed in the room but there was also a twin bed there too. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Nice meal in the legends bar the next day at a very decent price. Location is fantastic, alot of the main attractions are only a short walk away and temple bar is practically on your doorstep. Found noise an issue. Room 202 is facing an alley at the back of the hotel, was woken up very early in the morning by the sound of glass bottles been collected/recycled. Windows and curtains were closed but the noise was as if they were right outside the window and it was extremely loud. Lasted about 15mins. I received a great budget deal for this hotel so can't complain about price. Would stay here again but would ask for a quieter room.
