Our room was perfectly fine, yes a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The great location meant it was noisy at night but it did not bother us but it could bother older couples or light sleepers. Note to ladies with long hair...the hairdryer was like a mouse breathing on you so take your own!
We were disappointed with the hotel bar. The food was not great . My partner had the ribs which were very dry and supermarket quality. We ordered Mojitos and to be fair we were told that they were pre mixed but they bore no resemblance to a Mojito whatsoever and were disgusting. Note to Management.....if you cannot offer the real thing don't bother.
We stayed for the start of the show which you can see completely from the bar for free if you get a good table but we left as we found it a bit dull.
In conclusion I would stay at the hotel again but would avoid the bar / restaurant like the plague!

This hotel is in a great location, the green tour bus stops right outside, number 10 stop! If you catch the airport link bus 727 stop Dublin castle.
On arrival we were welcomed and our bags stored as we were a little early to check in. All the staff are really helpful, but so were the locals.
When we did check in we had room number 213, nice big clean room over looking the main road,
TV hair dryer, kettle trouser press, all you need for a nice stay.
The only thing bad was the bathroom extractor fan didn't work and the bathroom only being small turned into a sauna, the sink did have a huge crack in it which let the room down.
Plenty of hot water, clean towels and sheets, great stay for the price.
The hotel also boasts a great restaurant attached and Irish entertainment 7 nights a week, we loved it here and would recommend this place for the price, try it , enjoy.

Aircoach from the airport into Dublin. Dropped in O'Connell street and had a little walk but fine. Very friendly and helpful staff when we arrived and booked for the Celtic night. Very comfortable room overlooking the busy road but noise didn't effect us. Celtic night was brilliant food was excellent and good value. Breakfast was brilliant all cooked fresh to order and again the staff were lovely. Very central location.

Great location and very reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised by the price as Dublin can be pricey. Great food, restaurant and bar in the hotel with good celtic show. Rooms very good, yes I agree needs a little updating but clean and comfortable. Only downside is the heating, very hot during the night but better than being cold! Would stay again anytime.

Arlington Temple Bar is perfectly situated for the bus service in the city with hop on hop off and airlink bus stops outside. The shops, pubs and restaurants of Temple Bar literally round the corner. B&B facilities at the Arlington are fantastic value.

Great location and very reasonably priced for Dublin. While venturing into Temple Bar itself for many would be a reason to stay here, it's right on the edge so you can easily avoid the stag parties. Rooms were a good size, well priced, in need of a bit of a freshen up (new carpets etc) but that really doesn't matter when the staff are so friendly and helpful, the bar isn't extortionate and the price was so good.

Room Tip: Top floor will be quietest, live entertainment in the bar on the weekends

The Arlington is in a great location to walk to the main area of Temple Bar which is the party area of Dublin with lots of pubs and restaurants, live music and crowds of people. It is also convenient for Dublin Castle across the road and public transport to the Guinness Storehouse, which you can also walk to in about 15 mins. You can catch a local bus from the airport and then it is a short walk to the hotel. There is no parking, but who wants to drive in Dublin anyway. You can also walk to the river Liffey. Room is basic but cheap and ideal for a one or two night stay. Buffet Breakfast in the hotel is good value. Hotel also has a show with Irish dancing and while we didn't go it looked well booked.
