brilliant location, clean rooms but a bit dated, had a room on the second floor facing the road, very noisy had little sleep for 3 nights i am a light sleeper but the traffic noise was terrible all night long. couldn't ask for a better location right next to Temple Bar, a short walk from Grafton st. rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels. would stay again but would have to have a room out the back.

Room tip: ask for a room away from the main road.

Dear Jak M

As you are aware we plan to have a major refurbishment this year and this will resolve the room noise issues that you had in your room. Lord Edward Street is a very busy street but I can ensure you that it is much quieter than the Temple Bar Area - which we are only minutes away from.

With Kind Regards

Graeme

This hotel is dated and tired in most places including the rooms and is the only reason for me not giving a 5 out of 5. This aside, the hotel and rooms were fully functional/equipped, were clean and front desk staff very good and friendly. Location is brilliant and within the Temple Bar area and also next to the airport link bus (747) and the bus tour stops. Also very close to bars and eating outlets and a main road so expect some noise but nothing too concerning. If you like good value then you will like this hotel whereas it may not be for you if enjoy a more modern hotel feel.

Dear Guest

Thank you for your honest words about the hotel and the services that we offer, a great location, good food and drink and complimentary music for our guests in winter months during the weekend.

Hotel is decent. Staff are hit and miss as a woman was very unhelpful but the other desk staff were very good. Nice central location but not much sleep as the street noise is unbearable. Food in the pud below is very good. Sorry but just wouldn't stay again.

Dear Guests

I will take on board your comments and speak to the lady on the front desk whom came across in an unhelpful manner. We have a wonderful central location, I am very sorry you found the noise unbearable.

In due course the hotel will have a refurbishment and I am sure that we will deal with the noise level issue that you mentioned in this review.

Kind Regards
Graeme

We were in Dublin for just two nights on our way back home from a visit to Spain. We found all the staff to be very helpful. The manager Graham in particular made an effort to sort out a lost card issue with our bank back home.

The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The bathroom was clean as well, with the only criticism being a scarcity of water, particularly on the hot side from the shower head. This may be a 3rd floor phenomena, and only a small complaint.
We never took advantage of the pub and restaurant below so cannot comment on that, but It's close to the many pubs and sights, and we'd go back again without hesitation.

We needed to stay in the area so decided on the Parliament Hotel, looked ok online
but was very disappointed when we got into the room. The beds were terrible, they sagged in the middle, the sheets were very cheap and only one sheet on the stained mattress, comforter was wasn't warm. The carpets were stained and dirty, was afraid to walk around in my socks, the room smelled. The bathroom was also bad, no room in the shower, hardly any water came out of the shower head, really cheap towels and not enough of them. the door didn't even look, the lock was a clip? There are more issues I could on about, but that's enough to say, not a place to stay unless you have no choice, as the price wasn't cheap either, because stayed a few more days in Dublin at a Best Western and that was great place and cheaper.
But on the plus side, the front staff was ok.

Room tip: Don't stay here if you can help it.
