In the middle of Dublin, in the heart of the city. Central to everything.

Hotel staff friendly and helpful, housekeeping was absolutely amazing when we asked for extra towels the lady came with loads. Restaurant good and staff there very helpful too and food very nice.

Room Tip: Some of the room at the back are above the bar and can be a bit noisy.

Stayed here 26th April for 2 nights. 13 girls on a hen do. We stayed in the building next door room 1111. Room was clean, shower was hot and was far enough away from the nightclub that we slept. Bad point the pillows are shocking so ask for a few extra ! Breakfast was good although no fried eggs or mushrooms and toaster was rubbish but plenty to choose from. Location 15 min walk to centre 25 mins airport and tram station 1 min away. Overall fine stay for friends but not for couples looking for romance !!

Lovely garden at the back
Very busy bar & nightclub, free in for residence.
Amazing location.

we stayed at Harcourt Hotel between 1st and 3rd april for 2 nights (aged 30-40). upon our early arrival we went to check in and leave our bags and the gentleman on reception was very helpful. we were informed that water resrictions were in place in Dublin that night and there would be no water betwwen 7pm and 7am!! at first i thought this was an April Fool's joke but it truned out to be for real! Obviously not the hotels fault. they were able to check us in earlier than the 3pm (at 1.30pm) which was very helpful as we had been up most of the night travelling. a nap was in order! unfortunatley it was disturbed by house keeping who wanted to give us extra towels?? (probably our own fault for not hanging the DO NOT DISTURB sign out) but they only gave us 30 seconds to answer the door before letting themselves in! (luckily we were dressed!!) if it wasn't them waking us it was the child next door jumping on the bed or the constant slamming of doors which made the floor shake! we were also placed next to a cleaning cupboard that seemed to get plenty of use!
on the second day we were out from 11am till 4pm. when we walked back in our room (it had not been cleaned) not 10 minutes later did the cleaners arrive!! we assure them we were ok and they left us with more towels! during the second night the firm alarm went off at about 3am/4am!! although it was only for 30 seconds it was enough to make me jump out of bed! following that was another hour of screaming, laughter and chatting from a bunch of girls who seemed to be running around the hotel slamming doors. when we checked out the following morning there was no mention of the fire alarm which was a shame. a simple apology for the disruption would have been nice.
generally the staff we met were nice and helpful but the hotel was noisy with thin walls!

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel between 12th and 15th April and have to say that the bedrooms and bathrooms are in desparate need of a total makeover. Our towels were not changed unless we asked for them to be changed and then we were given damp towels!!!! The noise from the nightclub on the premises is horrendous and fortunately we had a back room so that was the only noise we got, but our friends had a front room and the noise from the street was horrific. Not a hotel to be recommended for a quiet break!!! The only thing in its favour is the breakfast which was extra but excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.;

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, ask for a room at the back.

My sister and I aged 23-25 stayed in the harcourt hotel on Friday 12th April for one night. To be honest, the hotel is ok, but I wouldn't be rushing back. Te hotel itself is very clean but the rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny. However, the one thing that I will say is that the breakfast was lovely and well worth the money; Fresh fruit was available as was a traditional Irish breakfast. Within the hotel there is a nightclub which runs on till the early hours of the morning-about 3am- the music was so loud I could not get to sleep at all! On top of this, there is another nightclub acros th road which ran on until 5am, so between the two of them the vibes were pumping. After the clubs, people were obviously out on the street which seemed for hours shouting etc. this hotel is fine for people who intend on styling out the whole night, but really not advisable for anyone else.

Last minute idea to book a city centre hotel rather than spring for a taxi home. Hot suckered in with €49 double room from iPhone app. Turned out no parking, add €15 and a long walk for that. No breakfast, add €9 if you want that. The room was clean but stank of stale cigarette smoke and was situated directly over a nightclub so loud we could barely hear TV. Staff used a store room next door constantly with no consideration for guests. I would feel sorry for anyone travelling from abroad and ending up here. Probably grand for a stag weekend or something
