Went there with a friend for st. Patricks weekend. Location is very central, room was clean, staff was friendly. The cleaners let u sleep when you're hungover. What else do you need? Well maybe a toilet brush would be a nice thing to have sometimes, but really... As this was the only downside, i would surely recommend it to anyone looking for a well located and not too expensive hotel.

This was my first ever trip to Dublin, with my boyfriend who had been several times before. The hotel was in a great location for getting to see the city, but be aware that it's a bit of a walk down O'Connell St to get to Temple Bar and the city centre. We got dropped off by the airport bus service (highly recommend) right by the hotel and the hotel staff were very accommodating in letting us leave our bags at the hotel until check in time at 2pm. We also did this at the end of our stay as we had an evening flight and this made it a lot easier to enjoy Dublin without lugging our cases around the city. Although there was an issue with our card keys not working when we first checked in the hotel staff were very helpful and sorted it out quickly.
The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The walls are a little thin though, as next door had a child who liked to be up very very early, and we could hear this. Not a major problem as we are decent sleepers.
We didn't try the bar or the hotel food as we ate out for every meal so can't comment on that.
All in all, a great all round location to explore Dublin - staff are very polite and it was very good value for money.

My friend and I stayed here last night for one nights b&b. Location wise, it's very central and perfect for sightseeing/shopping being located at the top of O'Connell St. The rooms are quite big, clean and very comfortable. The rack rate was very reasonable for a Dublin City Centre hotel. Breakfast is ok, nothing flash but it fills you. All in all, if your looking for a reasonably priced nights stay without luxury but in comfortable and clean hotel in a central location, I'd recommend this as a good spot.

This was my first "tourist" visit to Dublin city and it was made all the more enjoyable by my stay at Cassidy's hotel.
On arrival I had a very warm welcome and the room was really comfortable and clean.Plenty of hot water and in a nice quiet location at the rear of hotel.
The bar and restaurant were really good and I had lunch there on one occasion, good value!
I will return, that is for sure and it is so well placed for all the sights!

We stayed for three nights at this hotel and found it ideal for our needs, very convenient to walk everywhere we needed.
Within easy reach of tour buses and shuttle to arport.
Our room was well equipped andeverything worked, the bed a double was clean an also comfortable.
our room was on the side of the hotel so very quiet throughout.
Staff were very pleasant and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced.
We did all the notable areas ofbthe city and with good weather made our trip one to remember.

Stayed at this hotel on two separate visits. I highly recommend for value and location. Right at the top of O'Connell Street which is a 5 minute walk to the Trinity Bar area and Grafton Street. Hotel is okay in terms of decor and ambience but that is quickly made up for in price. Friends stayed at another, more modern hotel off Grafton Street and paid over $300 USD per night more!!! The hotel is clean, staff are helpful and the savings are appreciated. Breakfast buffet is a bit lacking in terms of selection and availability. Staff have a had time responding to requests for menu items or other needs. Dinner in the bar area was a pleasant surprise. I almost avoided the restaurant based on the breakfast experience, I am glad I changed my mind. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

Room Tip: If you have any type of mobility issues ask for a room that does not require a lot of walking. The...
