Dublin hotels tend to be quite expensive I find. Especially if they are in a good location. Therefore it was a pleasant surprise to come across the Cassidys.
The location is wonderful being just across the river and around a 15 minute walk from the Temple Street Bar scene. This way if you want to take part you can but when you are ready to retire for the evening you are not subject to the noise.
You can take the Airlink from the airport which takes roughly 30 minutes depending on time of day and cost €10 return. It drops you off just around the corner from the hotel, Stop 7, and runs every 15 minutes or so.
The hotel also offers to store your luggage and have a good system for keeping track to make sure no one else can mistakenly take your case.
The staff were very friendly and the rooms well appointed. I could not fault this hotel for the price as it is very reasonable and good value for money in my opinion. The beds were comfortable and the windows open to let in air.
I will definitely look to try and reserve this hotel first the next time my travels take me to Dublin.More
