“Outstanding staff and location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

I can't say enough about the staff at Cassidy's. Besides being very helpful with check-in and hotel services, they helped us with directions around the city, bus and train schedules and recommendations of tours around Ireland, which turned out to be as good as they said. The hotel was in a great location in the center of the city and only a few minutes walk from buses and trams and pick up locations for tours. If you don't mind a little walk you can see most of the major attractions in the city without using the hop-on, hop-off bus. Convenience store for snacks about 2 minutes away. Highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in a double room for two nights which was perfect for our needs and on returning to Dublin...

I thoroughly enjoying my stay with 5 others friends at this hotel.
rooms were clean and bright and airy. Housekeeping were obliging with supplying essentials and always with a smile.

reception staff were very helpful and helped with booking event's for me and my family and booking taxis.
Bar staff were brilliant with welcoming personalities.
The breakfast was fantastic not a greasy full irish, a lot of variety of s continental breakfast and s good time to have a lay in as breakfast was served until 11am.
Overall, this hotel made our stay brilliant. Without good accommodation it could spoil your weekend. 5 star from us.

This Hotel exudes welcome and friendliness. From the minute we walked trough the door the two girls at the desk had a warm welcoming smile and excellently said welcome back to us knowing I was a past guest. The check in was prompt but did not feel rushed and we were well informed on parking facilities - which was far reasonable that most city centre hotels. We wanted to have a snack and beverage before we went to our room which was excellent value for money which was served by clearly experienced and goes with out saying friendly smiling staff. We had decided to stay in one of Cassidys Suites(I would highly recommend it just made our stay even more special) Of course to our surprise our luggage was waiting in the room ahead of our arrival. Damien showed us to our room - what a wonderful guy he was full of historical stories and we just loved the fact that we were staying in a hotel that The Beatles once stayed amazing! The next morning we woke to a wonderful breakfast and I was ready to hit the shops after such a restful night sleep right in the city centre I could hardly believe it- I woke up and thought I was in a county hotel. Location amazing, great parking facilities, great room, Great breakfast, I felt I was part of the family when leaving, I'm already planning a large family break away and I know there is only one hotel I can thrust to deliver their very own unique family experience.

Room Tip: Go for a suite- soooooo worth it!!!!

We stayed at Cassidy's hotel for 2 nights after a recommendation from a friend. After perviously searching for hotels online, Cassidys was coming up at a similar price but looked a lot nicer than any of the others. It is a little walk from the main centre of the 'action', however located on Upper O'Connell street which has many points of interest itself. Our room was clean, comfy beds, fresh towels available everyday if you require. Close by to stops from the Airlink bus direct from the airport, this took approx 35 mins, €10 return pp. We had a very pleasant stay & I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We didn't have breakfast included in our room price, however plenty of places nearby selling breakfast at reasonable prices, some all day.

Charming old world ambiance. Staff were friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed our stay. Close to Hop On Hop Off. In the main street of Dublin, close proximity to shops. Very good breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Room Service was very good after a long day of site seeing.

I picked this hotel based on the reviews here. It was clean and well-kept, although the bathrooms need some updating. The hotel's location is convenient to almost everything, including public transportation. That's why I'm rating it "very good." Otherwise I would rate it "average" because we had a very hard time sleeping due to street noise at night and the hotel staff banging around during the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it was very nice that we could purchase bus fare at the desk. If you want convenience and good service it's OK to stay here. Just remember to pack ear plugs. They're too expensive in Dublin.

We loved Cassidy's Hotel. The Claddagh Suite was a treat for us. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the furnishing were top-notch. I loved the sitting area with the tea service, and the velvet chairs were very comfortable. The bath was extremely clean and large. We were rather concerned at being at the front of the hotel with the windows open, but things quietened down nicely. The staff was wonderful! They helped us and our group with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, and so was our supper - the salmon was divine. They happily provided a place for our musicians to set up and entertain one evening. We simply could not have asked for more from the staff or the hotel building. Perfect location.

Room Tip: Higher floors to the front are cooler in the summer.
