Enjoyed our stay at blooms, all staff were very helpful in telling us where things are in the city and couldn't do enough for us! Only bad points which are very minor things, is the telly wasn't very good in our room but would definately recommend to anyone who wants a good stay in dublin!
Food in the restaurant is at a very high standard as well and the entertainment is enjoyable too.

We stayed one night. We arrived in Dublin at 7am and check in wasn't until 3pm. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating in letting us store our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready. She even got us a room to check into at 10am which was great in itself. The room though, not so great. The room door wouldn't open without hitting the room safe door, the room looked like something from a college dorm. It was two twin beds which was fine for the one night, however one of them rolled BADLY since the floor was tile. I eventually had to wedge my shoe under it to keep it from rolling anymore.

Overall, not bad for one night, but couldn't handle more than that.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your review.

I am pleased to read that our team were able to facilitate and early check-in for you. It disappoints me greatly that your stay with us was somewhat marred due to these issues and I would like to extend my sincere apologies for that. Had we been aware of these issues on the night of your stay with us, we would have been in a position to offer you a room move.

We do hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Kind regards,
Kris Kumar.

We got a great room deal at Blooms and were pleasantly surprised that it was a pretty decent hotel. Our bed was comfortable with lovely crisp linen and the bathroom was ample with basic toiletries.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but did have dinner on one evening in the Vat House Bar, which is part of the hotel and the food was very tasty at a reasonable price.
We had no problem with noise, but our visit was midweek, and we were spoiled for choice with so many places to eat and drink just a stone's throw away.
Just a word of caution, you cannot check in without photo ID, which I thought was a bit unusual. I had no reason to have a passport or driving licence with me, when I wasn't driving or leaving the country!

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Great to read that our city centre location was so convenient. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused but as per hotel policy, we need a photo ID on arrival to make sure that right room is given to the right guests therefore it's is clearly mentioned on our all websites and guests confirmation. It's is nice read that you enjoyed the food in our VAT house bar.

I do hope that we will welcome you back in the future.

Kind regards,
Kris Kumar.

Room was clean. WiFi in lobby; had to ask for the router to be reset once. Location very handy to other attractions. Our room view was a wall and noisy due to exterior fans. Area IS Temple Bar, so the rowdy bar noises were expected. All on staff were gracious and attentive.

Blooms Hotel is well located on the edge of Temple Bar and well within walking distance to shops, sights, and churches in the City Center. The staff is the secret weapon as they are consistently helpful and cheerful. The rooms are not overly large but they are clean and comfortable with all the touches one needs. One drawback is that there is no restaurant on site but there is breakfast and a pub that serves food. The area has any number of restaurants close by. Dublin is a walking city and this hotel is close to the Information office, taxi stand, bus stop, bank and University.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 'back' side of the hotel and not on the street side to avoid noise.

This is directed to the staff member who replied to Michele. I would just like to point out that you are publicly lying. I stayed with Michele that trip and we never mentioned to anyone the stains and state of the room, so there is no way that you could have offered us a room change when we never said anything to you. The drink vouchers are actually offered to everyone upon arrival, as well. On top of that, the WiFi you so graciously offer only in the lobby didn't even work whenever we tried. This matter we did bring to your attention, at which point you promptly dismissed us. Just thought I'd clarify for anyone else considering staying at your hotel. If you don't care about these things, then it's a fine place to stay, but I do not take well to lying.

Dear Valued Guest,

Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused during your recent stay with us.

With regards to Michele M feedback, before replied to the Michele, I investigated the matter with our team and realised that there was a complaint lodged at our reception desk with the same name and the nature of that complaint was the same that's why I mistakenly assumed that it was the same guests. Had we been aware of these issues on the night of your stay with us, we would have been in a position to offer you a room move.

I would be grateful to you if you would contact me directly so that I may discuss the matter with you.

Kind regards,
Kris Kumar.

Fabulous three nights here right in the heart of Temple Bar. Very comfortable rooms with all you need and wonderful staff who will print out anything for you. The Vat House is great for a meal, a drink and a sing along with the live music nightly. Not as crazy as the other bars in this area and very relaxed - except for Saturday night of course when the downstairs club M is in full swing. Wait staff all wonderful - would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: As far up as possible because the noise travels even though there are double glazed windows. There i...
