We stayed for three nights from 1st May. The hotel is well situated to be away from the noise of Dublin city centre, but within easy reach of the city via the bus or tram, or a if the weather is nice, a liesurely walk by the Liffey. (The weather was very hot during our stay)
If like us you need a bus direct from the airport, then the buses stop at Heuston Station which is only a few hundred yards over the river via the near by bridge to the hotel. Couldn't be better placed.
We stayed B&B and the room was very nice, clean and of a good size. The breakfast was also very good, though the breakfast room was a litlle too warm. The staff were excellent too.
I would recommend the Ashling to anyone visiting Dublin, and would definately stay there again.
