We stayed here for 4 nights for a couple break. The hotel has tried hard - the rooms are nicely decorated and furnished and the staff are helpful. It's about a 10 minute walk from Temple Bar so not a bad location.
However - on Friday and Saturday night the noise from the club was SO loud the bathroom actually vibrated - it was unbelievable! Also there's lots of young groups staying in the hotel and were very noisy.

If you want to party all weekend the hotel is great but if you want a romantic weekend it's not the place for you.

Also the rooms were very very hot and you couldn't make it cooler which was a shame.

Came here for a break in February, we did lots of sight seeing which thankfully tired us out so we had no issues with noise like some of the other reviews.

We had a twin room which was fine enough apart from the hair dryer which was coming out of the mains, I think if we used it we would have been electrocuted! The TV would only allow us one channel as the remote was broken, and when I mentioned it to the receptionist he huffed and puffed a lot then told me there was nothing he could do. Wasn't much of an issue for us as we weren't there to watch TV anyway but that wasn't the point.

The staff here could definitely use some customer service training as they are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. We were made to feel like we were in the way and they clearly did not want to be there. Apart from one lady who was lovely and she helped us find a couple of things down town.

In general it was a roof over our heads which is all we wanted, won't be rushing back to stay at this hotel next time though.

The staff are very unfriendly and not welcoming at all,

Stayed here for 3 nights end of April for Punchestown festival. great location for bars & clubs, and only 10 min walk to Temple Bar & the river. Worth avoiding if you are with a young family &/or want an early night, as the nightclub underneath plays music until 3am - however, it is then very quiet & remains quiet throughout the morning.
Room was cleaned daily & was spacious with an excellent shower. Reception manned 24 hours & very friendly staff.

We were told we got one of the 'quiet' rooms and yet could feel the vibrations from the nightclub reverberating through the room... Great location, nice staff, comfortable room, great view... but not worth not being able to sleep I'm afraid.

Unless you can sleep to disco music, stay away from this hotel. It may very well be a weekend issue only, I don't know. What I do know, though, is that I spent last Friday and Saturday night at the Camden Deluxe (so to speak), and regretted every single minute of it. The disco on the ground floor takes no prisoners: its speakers blast from midnight to 4 am. Please notice that my room was on the third floor -- to no avail. This is simply unacceptable.

Room Tip: you cannot choose a good room. all rooms are exposed to the disco's fury
