The location was good, the pub downstairs great. The room was dirty and smelly! It didn't feel safe, very noisy, very noisy! It would be fine for couple university kids looking for cheap stay in the city.

A price worthy hotel in the centre of Dublin. The staff was friendly and the breakfast quite alright. You can chose between full english, continental and veg breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to Temple bar district. A nice pub in the house too.

I recently organised a 50th Wedding Anniversary for my parents and we had the party in the bar. We had a fantastic night, food was lovely, and the staff (especially Marie) were extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. They told the DJ to call my parents up and made them feel very special, dedicated a couple of songs to them and had everyone up dancing, so thanks to all staff in the Clifton Court. I cant say anything about the rooms as I have never stayed there, but I would definately go there again for a drink, great atmosphere and friendly staff. what more could you want!! .

Being on a months holiday from NZ for the first time and having had stayed in some simple hotels etc, all have been brilliant, except this one, I should have checked the reviews before booking us here, after a not so nice greeting with the reception person, and paying our 2 night fare, we climbed 4 flights of stairs, what a fing killer that was to arrive up by the roof, open the door to find a dingy LITTLE room, with the bed pushed against the wall, not suitable for 2 people sleeping in it and a tv with no remote, an even dingier little bathroom room, you couldn't even sit on the toilet with out banging your knees against the shower door, the shower although heat and pressure were ok, to get in there was a mission and a half, not too miss out the mould on the shower doors, and the room had the weirdest smell ever gave me a headache, when we ask the reception person about the wi Fi which is advised in the hotel facilities I was told rudely that its not for the rooms, I stated that is says on the website site, free access to Wi Fi and it also states free Internet etc, which he told me no it doesn't...umm go check your website out dude... Lucky we had a full day booked and only had a few hours sleep in there for the both nights......recommend unless you want to sleep in a dingy place for mega bucks, try is place....as for us we will recommend to everyone we come in contact with never stay there!!!!!'

The hotel is in the centre of Dublin and directly at river Liffey. Sightseeing, Pub visits, etc. can be made without any transportation. Although the room isn´t big and not really new, it contains everything you need, the bath is clean, the staff very friendly. Late check-in no problem.
The breakfast is ok and starts normally at 08:00h, but will be served earlier, if you want.

Great location. Be careful if you're vegetarian and asking for breakfast. My girlfriend asked for no meat as she is a veggie, breakfast came with meat, waitress simply grabbed her fork and scraped the meat off onto her side plate.
Lower 2 floors stink of cigarette smoke
Bed was unbelievably creaky
Shower was disfunctional, tiles squelched as water between tiles and floor
Would have given 1 star but the great location (could fall out of bed and be either on o'connell street or in the river)
