Everything you would want in a hotel, great rooms, excellent service, parking and great location. Room was really lovely large plasma, fire, great space and lovely decor. The only flaw I could find was the shower, small shower head and not very powerful, but that is really picking!

Our room was spacious and had trendy decor. The huge flat screen TV and fireplace were impressive. The location in Donnybrook is great. A 20 minute walk to city center or short bus/taxi ride. You are in a great neighborhood with cafes, pubs, restaurants and a fantastic food market.
The bar/bistro was good for drinks, food and live entertainment.
There is a nightclub in the bottom of the hotel that is open from 11pm-3am and is loud. Earplugs help somewhat but you really can't drown out the music and all the boisterous, loud people out front. The windows are not double paned or sound proof so be prepared if you stay over a weekend.

Room Tip: Top floor and rooms that do NOT face the road.

We were really pshched to stay at this hotel, especially after seeing a preview of it on the Today Show here in the US! We were not disappointed! We stayed a week, and while it was not directly in the city centre, it was only a few minutes by bus - and bus transportation from the hotel to the city centre (and airport) is very efficient. Also, it's a nice walk from the hotel to the city centre - only about 15-20 mins. I also like that you get to experience a different neighborhood but are also close to the downtown "buzz" - it's kind of like getting the best of both worlds/experiences. This hotel is a nice balance between location and cost. Of course there are other places one could stay in the heart of the city centre, I doubt they would offer the same value - rates tend to be much pricey than the Hampton, and I think the Hampton offers all that one could want and at a much better value: nice, clean contemporary hotel; on-site restaurant/bar with very good food; centrally located; and access to efficient transportation as wanted or necessary. The staff was MARVELOUS and made the stay! Thank you - we WILL be back and would be pleased to recommend the Hampton to others.

Room Tip: There is a night club at the hotel. While we did not experience since it's primarily for private...

Stayed for four nights in mid march. Pleasant, helpful and polite staff.

The hotel is situated about 15 minutes by bus from the city centre in a quiet area. Very frequent bus departures.

The room was very nice with a big flat screen and a plasma fire place.

After sightseeing the first day, we were disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned when we got badk at 4 pm. In shelves it was a bit dusty, so it would'nt hurt with a little extra quality in the housekeeping.

In the bath room, wich also was very nice, there was a bath tub. Only draw back was that the toilet paper was hung up a bit far from the toilet.

The hotels bistro was a pleasant experience. Big portions and tasty meals. We ate dinner there twice plus breakfast every morning. A small comment on the breakfast though is that in the menu it says freshly squeezed orange juice, but it actually comes from a box.

All in all a good stay, and can recommend staying here!

Elegant, nice, comfy hotel that is a nice walk away from the center of Dublin. The room we got was Hampton style, it was huge and really well done. Very clean and comfortable. We had a fireplace and couch in our place, really cool. Their bar downstairs was the perfect place for a night cap.

The staff were extremely helpful and happy, it was delightful.

There is a bus stop for bus 145, 46A and 39A that go right into the center, the area that you'd want to go. The buses stop running at midnight, but don't worry.. a good 20 walk to walk off the Guinness/Whiskey :)

I'm so glad i chose to stay in this hotel, it really is an amazing place to stay. It is decorated to a very high level with attention to detail high on the list. The room was just as it looked on the website, they are big and airy with huge flat screen TV and electric fire. Plenty of storage, and space to sit. The bath room was to a high spec too with high class toiletries. The bar/restaurant is comfortable if a little dark in places due to the lighting. The food is very good, home made and tasty. The girls on reception were very helpful and pleasant. Free WiFi throughout too. Avery good place to stay. It's a good 20 -30 minute walk to city center but there is a bus stop right outside which costs less than 2 euros.
