“Great stay, as usual”
Reviewed 25 July 2012

The really great point about this hotel is its central location. It's also got pleasant staff, good rooms and good breakfast. Although more aimed at the tourist, I stay here even when in Dublin on business as its easy to walk to most places I need and handy for the night life in the evening when I am not working.
The Aircoach stops just on the corner to go back to the airport and a few hundred metres across the road at Trinity on the way in (still an easy walk, even with luggage).
Great value for money. I always try to stay here when I am in Dublin.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet night, ask for a room overlooking the courtyard, definitely NOT the lane or the...

This hotel is perfect for a stay in central Dublin. Ideal location in the heart of Temple Bar. Got an upgrade to an executive room by the wonderful Maria in reservations. Room was very big with very comfortable beds.Spotlessly clean,Good shower. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff at front desk and breakfast were top notch. Got a room at the back so heard absolutely no noise. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back next time I'm in Dublin.

Room Tip: A room at the back to avoid the noise from streets

here two nights while seeing Bruce Springsteen, with daughter. could have done with more sleep, twin beds comfy requested quiet room but got one above buskers club and next to allyway where bottle bins collected through night.
great location, staff friendly, breakfast okay, room lovely, but lack of double glazing lets down as could not get to sleep till four or five.

Room Tip: avoid rooms over hotel club and next to allyway between hotel and hard rock cafe

Stayed here for three nights while in Dublin to see Bruce Springsteen. Hotel is in excellent central position, right in the middle of Temple Bar. Comfortable king-size bed, kettle and hairdrier. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Asked for jug of milk middle of the night to make tea, no problem at all. Bar next door make great cocktails and have excellent live music.

Great room. Spacious, comfortable and a central location. However, having read trip advisor reviews and knowing of the potential for noise, we requested a quiet room. We were given a room overlooking an alley that was club let-out central. It was as though we were part of the club scene while still in our room.
The staff personnel we dealt with were mostly pleasant but Maria from Latvia was exceptional and went out her way to be helpful.
Probably wouldn't stay here again

Thanks for having us last week at the Temple Bar pouring rain.. its Dublin .. 19.30 hotel overbooked when we arrived and they had plans to move us to a 4 star out of town. As we had a meet up scheduled for 20.30 this was the last thing we needed, so they managed to give us a conference room with bath located over the corridor. Slept brilliantly below the overhead projector and the 3 tables were perfect for arranging our STUFF. 4 months on the road and half way through...Great location and tho we never had time for a drink in the purple bar our friend enjoyed it. Many thanks.. v easy cab to Heuston and Galway next day. Forgot to say they halved our bill.. :-)

Room Tip: Was a little noisy but did not bother us.

We had a great stay at the Temple Bar Hotel. The staff upgraded our room when they heard it was our honeymoon. We asked for an inside room due to other reviews saying it was loud at night, we had a quiet sleep every night. We are not the type to need much but the little we asked for was provided to us. Thank or everything.
