“Loved It!”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

The Glasnevin Cemetery Museum is both pleasant and enriching. It's a great stop for those interested in history. The grounds are wonderful to stroll through. There's on-going restoration but not messy or any hindrance at all.
If you do get a chance there's a pub next door called 'John Kavanagh's Gravedigger's Pub. Stop in for a pint and you can tell there's loads of history there too.

“Spectacular. A MUST SEE.”

This was fantastic. I'm planning on going back. I wish we had spent more time wandering through. There is so much history here. Plus you can also get a pint of Guinness at The Gravediggers Pub!

“Brilliant a must.”
Reviewed 11 October 2013

I never thought I would enjoy a visit to a cemetery, but I did. The guide was excellent and the museum afterwards was very well done. Just a few tours each day, certainly one at 1130. There is also a very good cafe at the museum (there is nowhere nearby outside to eat). A must to understand the recent history of the republic.

“An interest in history”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

This is a great side trip for those who are interested in history. The guides are excellent and full of interesting items of Irish history. The Glasnevin neighborhood is a wonderful place and offers the opportunity for a stop at Gravediggers Pub which is around the corner off Prospect Way and adjacent to a back gate to the Cemetary .
