The guide was very informative & had great humour in his talks. If one is interested in Irish History. This is the place to go. I would highly recommend it. Want to know about Michael Collins, Parnell etc. don`t give it a miss. Also you can enter the vault of Daniel O`Connell.

“Facinating place- go there”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

I visited Glasnevin in May 2014. As a keen amateur historian I was eager to see all the greats of Irish history. I was flabbergasted by how many famous figures from history were buried here. I knew it was an important place, but EVERYONE is buried here. Litterally, EVERYONE in Irish history. Its unbelievable. The tour is well worth doing, so check the times before you visit. O' Connells tomb is amazing.
Possibly the best attraction in Dublin.

“An unexpected gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

Great information guided tour learnt more history in one hour here than in twenty years in school. If you plan to go here give yourself at least four hours to soak up the history, enjoy your coffee in the cafe and pop next door to botanic gardens, the ultimate relaxed day

Steeped in history and very well presented. Worth a visit for an hour. Beautiful center is worth the admission fee.
