This was a lovely little surprise. A small still in use church full of historic imformation and very friendly and helpful staff, who were more than happy to talk and answer questions (A clear love for their church)

The church is free to enter unlike the two closeby larger cathedrals. A small leaflet and Postcard are available for 50c each. Well worth it for a truely cared for church. please visit

I've been in Dublin too long before having gone to this church right in the centre of old Dublin. Despite the fact that I learned where Dublin got both its' names from ( you have to go to find out) I enjoyed the tour given by Tom. A top tip is to go for the guided tour and not just experience the centre alone. The church is a good site and will suit tourists as much as those from Dublin but not so recommended for smaller kids

Tourist wise location is good, because Christ Church Cathedral is close and Guinness Storehouse isn't that far either. Beautiful old church, but their park like surroundings seems to attract all kind of shady people.

Interesting church 200 meters west of Christ Church Cathedral. Run by the OPW but admission is free. They provide an under 5 minute personal narrative about the church, it's history, and points of interest inside. It is about a 15 minute walk through. Good supplement to the €6 Christ Church.
